I originally planned on doing a pickup before hours, but encountered problems while using the Uhaul app. I was 8:55am when Igot off the phone with the Uhaul rep. The storage facility website gave their hours as starting at 10am but I noticed that a customer exited the building so I went inside to the counter. The rep was courteous and thorough with my rental. However, the van key was in a lockbox outside so the rep and I went outside to get it. He made several attempts at sliding the door open, but something was obstructing the door from moving back. He retrived a screwdriver and used it to open the door and remove the key for me. I would not have been able to open the door and get the key on my own, so the selfpick reservation was completely useless.
