Bob RIt was not clear that this was self service. Having a broader explanation of that when people login to book the service would be appreciated. This location has multiple images on its facing gas station, which is next to the lot where the trucks are kept. The lockbox that I had to access was on the opposite side from where the vans were. There was no way to discreetly understand that the gas station was connected with the U-Haul service. It’s unclear to me why the U-Haul lockbox wouldn’t be stacked somewhere on the lot where the actual bands are located. Myself and one other customer wandered around, trying to figure out where the U-Haul lockbox were. The woman in the gas station who assisted us was lovely, super helpful, very informative and made the next part easy. If she hadn’t been there and I had arrived at 7 AM, which is what I had anticipated doing I never would’ve known where to find the materials that I needed to get into the van. I did not arrive at 7 AM, which is what I booked the van for, because the website says the facility isn’t open until 9 AM! Leading me to believe that I could not pick up the van because it wasn’t clear it was self service. I found the whole situation extremely frustrating. The only reason I would book again is because now I know what the landscape of that is, but I would never support somebody else doing it for the first time it’s not well laid out.
