It was not clear that this was self service. Having a broader explanation of that when people login to book the service would be appreciated. This location has multiple images on its facing gas station, which is next to the lot where the trucks are kept. The lockbox that I had to access was on the opposite side from where the vans were. There was no way to discreetly understand that the gas station was connected with the U-Haul service. It’s unclear to me why the U-Haul lockbox wouldn’t be stacked somewhere on the lot where the actual bands are located. Myself and one other customer wandered around, trying to figure out where the U-Haul lockbox were. The woman in the gas station who assisted us was lovely, super helpful, very informative and made the next part easy. If she hadn’t been there and I had arrived at 7 AM, which is what I had anticipated doing I never would’ve known where to find the materials that I needed to get into the van. I did not arrive at 7 AM, which is what I booked the van for, because the website says the facility isn’t open until 9 AM! Leading me to believe that I could not pick up the van because it wasn’t clear it was self service. I found the whole situation extremely frustrating. The only reason I would book again is because now I know what the landscape of that is, but I would never support somebody else doing it for the first time it’s not well laid out.

Eliah LUhaul was easy and comfortable to communicate thru the app to customer service. Thought it was going to be an issue since the gas station I picked the truck up from was closed. Went thru the app and they were able to tell me the code for the key box to grab the keys from the truck. Just don't make the mistake I did and lock up the truck and put back keys before you are done closing out the app. They want you to take a bunch of pics of the truck to prove you returned the truck properly. Don't return the keys until you have completely filled out all return forms and taken all the pics you need. You can't go back and get the combo for the lock again after you already unlocked the key box. Easy pick up. Easy drop off. Company has been around for ever because they are customer based They make it simple and convenient. No hassle what so ever.
Jonathan TNot customer friendly at all it was like I was being a burden to them all I wanted to know was my bill an what happened to 1995 a day in town I didn't even put 100 miles on the van they really do suck I will never use these people again an I will make sure to let it be known they suck
