BRENDA BI used U-Haul’s mobile pickup expecting a quick and easy experience, but it took almost an hour just to get the truck. Throughout the experience, I was in contact with 3 different employees through the app/phone. The first was great; however, UHAUL was requesting my military LES (a document that wasn't listed as something I needed to have). The process took so long my mobile check-in timed out causing me to completely resubmit. Once resubmitted, I was chatting with a new agent that stated the location I was at didn't offer mobile pick-up (which was completely wrong), on the 3rd agent, she finally approved me to get into the uhaul. The location was unexpectedly closed for an emergency, so I had to rely on the mobile check-in. When I finally gained access, I discovered the truck’s front window was cracked. The delay and the poor vehicle condition were frustrating and disappointing. This experience definitely did not meet expectations for a service that’s supposed to be convenient. It will absolutely make me reconsider using Uhaul in the future.
