The location was closed when we arrived. We called the number on the door and were told they were "On the way". Our rental was scheduled for 11:30 and we got there at 11:40. By 12:00, no one had shown up so we called back and were told they were 15 min out, but when she realized we were renting a simple trailer, she did the check out over the phone. We hooked it all up ourselves and had to send her photos. We were finally able to leave after sitting and waiting for over 20 min. She also charged me for the insurance even though I declined it verbally and when I made the reservation online. This is the 2nd time I have rented from the location and had the insurance charged even though it was declined. I will never rent from this location again.

I had a scheduled pickup date for November 30th on a Sunday. They first texted me the day before I had to pick up that I had to pick up from a different location because the equipment wasn’t available at the one I chose, they even added more covered miles for the inconvenience. Then when arrived that morning on the 30th at the U-Haul place I was in the phone with a scheduling manager by the name of Landon and yes he was trying to be helpful I was still incredibly screwed over by U-Haul. I was not told before that because I had a reservation for a truck and a tow dolly for my car that someone from U-Haul had to hook it up. The 30th was a Sunday. It was closed. Landon tried to look at me going to another facility but they were all closed if they didn’t have the equipment I needed. I had to change all my plans to come back the next day when they opened. This included changing my work schedule when I’m starting a new job, friends and family had to come back and help for a second time costing me more money and gas to get said help. They did refund a small portion of the money which I do appreciate but honestly with how bad I got screwed over with the whole situation I wish it was more. Guess U-Haul just can’t afford it but they definitely are losing a lot of customers over this. Absolute poor communication on their end and I wasn’t happy with the result. 👎🏻
