JAMES MMy driver’s license wasn’t accepted because it was a digital CO ID. When I rented a U-Haul about three months ago, I had no problem verifying that I was the driver with the gentleman behind the counter. The only difference from this rental and last rental was I picked up this truck outside of business hours. The app was also very glitchy and did not let me submit my initial photos of the truck before driving off the premises. I had to call a customer support person (who was extremely helpful and very nice) to get another link to upload my pictures. All in all, the process took about 45 minutes to drive the truck off the property. I won’t be choosing to rent a U-Haul outside of business hours again.
