Staff at pickup were very friendly and quickly fixed an issue with the trailer wiring. I would highly recomend.
Hilary CWe originally had the truck rented in Moncton, NB for 8am, Saturday morning. The day before we get a call that we need to drive an hour in the opposite direction of our travel to Sussex, NB for 11am. We had hired loaders and unloaders that we had to pay additional money for an extra 4 hours each. The only compensation we were offered was that we would no have to pay the mileage from Sussex to Moncton. The caller was disinterested and unsympathetic to our situation. The Sussex location had 1 of the 2 dollies we requested and 28 of the 42 blankets we requested. That person was helpful and sympathetic just had no power to change anything. I would give Moncton a 3 out 10 and Sussex a 7 out of 10. I would not recommend U-Haul to anybody.
Donald WReturning after hours is not easy. We rented a truck a year or two ago, and could return online by submitting some pictures and very easy. Didn’t have that option for the trailer. To me that’s a U-Haul issue, not the location, they couldn’t have been better. My wife and I discussed the trailer as we were using it, that it made no sense for us to own one, if we could rent a unit in great working order when we needed it. Highly recommended !
JOSEPH EJessica was wonderful to deal with. The electronic machine she had to use wasn’t working properly. Not her fault. You need better interactive machines. I get a sense that ‘bare maintenance’ is the mantra of U-haul. Hope this does not apply to regular brake/tire/oil maintenance to name the 3 basics. Overall not that impressed.
