Most likely i am going to file a law suit against u haul for all this. I recieved a call from this guy mr. charles one day prior to the date of booking and he says i have to come to downtown Toronto to pick up truck and leave the truck at the same location within 6-8 hours and ensured he will give me a discount for all this inconvenience. The day of booking....... i reached the spot after paying for uber 30$ for my trip, which could have been avoided if i would have picked from my place of pick up. The moment i reached the office, a guy under influence of Marijuana and drink is there who is yelling and shouting for no reason. The owner is missing from place and comes back to his office after making me wait for half an hour. I asked him how much would be total, he kept on saying i will give you a discount when you return the truck. I believed him and drove the truck as per his assurance. My booking was supposed to be for 24 hours, instead i was forced to return truck within 6-8 hours, furthermore i was forced to drive truck more for about 30 kms, for which i am charged. This is very unprofessional for a company carrying a big name, we book under the impression that we are going to recieve services as promised.

Terrible experience at this location. I reserved a large truck and several dollies weeks in advance, but when we arrived, they had neither available: only a small truck, and not even the dollies we had booked. On top of that, we received the truck almost an hour late due to their fault. The employee offered us 24 hours with the smaller truck at no extra charge, which was pointless since we needed to move everything in one trip. Their lack of preparation made our move day far more stressful than it needed to be. We returned the truck on time, and while I do understand there are circumstances beyond our control, the whole experience was frustrating and disappointing.

Olga AThe office location was disgusting. So messy and dirty, the stairs had barely been shovelled and had iced over. And the truck/ cab looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. I appreciate the good price to rent, but not a good showing for the U-Haul brand.
