Clerk struggled with rental and kept stopping process to wait on other customers. Truck was not in the best condition.

Clean the equipment. There was/is a slick oil substance on the ramp the day we picked it up.. along with other whatever previously spilled in the trailer. We used paper towels to clean as best we could but it needs more than we had on site. I slipped down the ramp trying to pull up a dolly and I could have been hurt. When turning in the unit, I tried to tell you that it wasn't ready to be rented to someone else but then it wanted to charge ME a $15 cleaning fee. There has to be another option when the previous renters left it dirty. We did mark it dirty and take photos prior to leaving with our unit on the rental day. We have rented from this location before and they have always been amazing. We will continue to go there moving forward. The issue is with the previous renter.
Benjamin FTruck had not been checked when last used. Full of leaves. Employee was great at Gas N Spirits (41307). Very nice gentleman. Much better from the one we have dealt with in the past.
DOLORES DBack of U-haul was full of dirt and bark as if the last renter was hauling trees and dirt. Cab smelled as if someone was smoking in it. Cup holders had trash and candy wrappers inside.
SHANNON JI arrived for pickup. I had to connect the trailer myself with no help. 1st time using a trailer and I had no instructions on what to do. Then the trailer had no converter for the warning lights so I had to go to another Uhaul to buy one. Salesman told me he didn't think that I "HAD" to have those lights anyway. WHAT? Bought the converter only to find out one of the trailer lights were inoperable. So I then went to another Uhaul to have the light repaired. This was extremely stressful way to start my cross country trip.
