BESIDES RENTING THE TRUCK I ALSO RENTED 2 DOLLYS AND 1 DZ FURNITURE PADS, WHICH WERE NOT DELIVERED WITH THE TRUCK. WE HAD TO MOVE WITHOUT THESE ITEMS. SO I PROBABLY WILL NOT USE U-HAUL AGAIN. WHEN I RENT SOMETHING I EXPECT IT TO BE THERE. YOU ALSO CHANGED MY PICK-UP LOCATION. I PICKED THAT LOCATION FOR A REASON.

The workers were limited.was not original location I was suppose to pick up the truck at.workers were busy outside pushing a vehicle they were selling out of snow Instead of helping me.was left in store alone for awhile. Went to sit in my vehicle to keep warm.This added xtra mileage for going further away from where I was moving from which added xtra mileage and gas to expense.Plus we put in 68 dollars in gas not knowing how much to put in truck.I was told I would get A email with contract that day and never did.So I didn’t even know when I wAs suppose to return vehicle. Didn’t get email until two days later after it was brought back.Just today am getting more items charged out of my account .

I am writing N/A has an answer because I do not think it was the actual location of where we received the vehicle from but the poor communication from U-Haul itself as a company. Reservation was made on line-received confirmation but not the address of where I was picking up. Had to call to get the address. Got to location to pick up truck-they had no idea or communication that we were coming. (And I had taken the time to fill out pre register to “cut down time”. It took almost an hour for them to prepare truck-had limited time with the person we hired to help us. Drop off took just as long. I give experience a negative ten stars!

I was extremely disappointed with my experience. We chose our pickup location because it was roughly 3 miles away from the condo we were moving out of. As you know, it's not easy driving a 20ft truck and wanted to make it as easy as possible. UHaul called the day before to confirm pickup at a different location which was about 26 miles away in the complete opposite direction than anywhere we were going. It took over 35 minutes to get there from where we should have picked up the truck. I know it is only our "preferred location", and i could understand if we were sent to another location another 10 minutes away, but to be sent 35 minutes away was just outrageous. I called customer service to see what they could do and they had no help or care whatsoever. We were moving from Worcester, and to be told there was not 1 other 20ft truck available in all of Worcester and have to be sent to a small town out in the country on 26 miles of winding backroads was incredibly unacceptable. Any on top of that, they had the audacity to tell me that i went over the mileage and they wanted to charge me extra. The only reason i went over the mileage was because of how far they sent me to get the truck!! There was a sign at the pickup spot that says the "right location guaranteed or you receive $50", I'd be surprised if UHaul even upholds that, not to mention the guy working at the gas station tried to block me from taking a picture of the sign that is there for everyone to see. Now to top it all off, after booking the pickup for 3pm, giving me 24 hours for the rental, I got a call the next morning at 10:00am asking where the truck was, I was supposed to have it dropped off for 9:30 am. Either the pickup location or customer service listed on my contract that I picked up the truck at 9:30 in the morning, when i didn't get it until maybe 2:30 in that afternoon, so they wanted to charge me for the extra hours and I had to fight them to prove that I did in fact only pick up the truck at 2:30. If i have anything to do about it, I will never be using UHaul again. Buying a house and moving is a stressful experience in itself, having a truck to move everything is supposed to make it a little easier and this just complicated things even more. Very disappointed customer.

The person organizing the rental was not available when we arrived and had to be called. We waited 7-10 minutes for this person to arrive. The person then proceeded in a very confused and unorganized fashion with the reservation. I had to tell him it was a one way trip and inform him that the truck must be checked before the documents separated to ensure all signatures are accurate and all damage documented. I did not receive the mattress cover paid for in advance. Even when informed the agent did not update the drop off location in the system indicating that it did not matter. I received multiple calls from this incorrect drop off location the day of drop off due to this.

Everything was great, flawless rental. Excellent price for a one way move. Only issue, and this was minor, a previous user has damaged the top of the truck in the mom's attic area and it leaked onto some boxes. No damage other than some wet cardboard. Just needs too be repaired for the next renter.

I had made an appointment online, had the confirmation email and everything. We also completed the driver information online. We get there for the scheduled pickup time of 2:30 and the person who does uHaul is not there...The woman calls him and says he will be back in a half hour...Upon his return we had to do the whole registration over, he had to swipe my card again and again, he entered in the information of the driver - 2 times - because I believe he accidentally backspaced or something. It was a long process and we eventually were on the road late for the pickup that was scheduled. It just seemed like an unprofessional experience which was unfortunate. The man was pleasant upon our return, however which was nice better than first experience. Just strange that the online registration wasn't there even though I kept telling him (and trying to show him) the confirmation of it all on my phone.
