How U-Haul Reviews WorkTwo things: 1) Make sure the online portal knows what the agent can deliver! I paid for 12 moving blankets and only got 6. The agent claimed that’s all he had and was unable to refund me. He comped me some candy bars instead which was nice but shouldn’t have been necessary. 2) When I booked online, I estimated a 300km journey over three days. When I got my final bill, they had only used 187km for the bill(some random number that I have no idea where it came from) and then they added the difference in mileage as extra cost! That meant my final bill was more than $150 MORE expensive than what I was quoted. Very disappointing and I likely won’t use U-Hail again as it felt like an absolute ripoff.

John CIncredibly rude store, bad communication style. They never checked the van before handing over and they didn't check when they get it as well. I asked for dozen blankets they only give me few, and they said they don't have it even if they I wouldn't want it. I was pretty sure I paid for it and I wanted it. On the checkout, I was trying to show the picture of odometer store owner raised his voice and ordered me to show fuel gauge ! Which I said I need to go back and check or he can check himself, he raised his voice and ordered me to self checkout and he didn't give me the keys back. So I couldn't get the fuel gauge photo accurately.
Tolga OThe rental vehicle was covered in bird poop. I had to clean it, so I could see out the windshield and side windows. There was no furniture dolly available, so I settled for a light weight dolly which was useless for my needs. There were no moving blankets (I ordered 6) in the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle, the salesperson said it was my responsibility to ask the moving blankets, even though they were included in my order, and it appears on the final receipt that I paid for them. He also questioned whether I completely filled up the gas tank, despite me showing him the gas gauge. The next time I rent a vehicle, it will not be from this location.
