Considering I have rented all U-Haul and I’ve never had any issues before like checking them out or checking them in. I need to speak to a representative because I checked this in at 1:39 or 144. It was back at two and it appears they have charged me for an additional day after that we had issues with the app and it proceeded to tell Me somebody from U-Haul contact us so we waited and waited. No one called so then I called in and it became a long process however, I don’t think it’s right that I pay for an additional day since I couldn’t access the app to check the truck back in.
SARAH SMy renting experience was great and the vehicle fit all expectations. The issue is my return, when I got the truck it had around the 3/8 mark in fuel but I was charged for 7 gallons extra which is not the case. If the truck has a 40 gallon tank and I returned the truck at 3/8 of a tank ( the same as I received) why was I charged for 7 gallons? Nearly a quarter of a tank of fuel totaling $30 extra. I was also charged $40 for another day when I was allotted return of September 6th 6 am. I returned the vehicle at 9pm on September 5th. This transaction totaling $73.40, almost half the original price for the vehicle itself for the 138 miles and 2 day time frame allowance. The issue is unexpected and unacceptable.
