SANDRA ERenting the Uhaul was perfect, and I was able to make the delivery of a full load of materials flawlessly. But on the way back, I decided to stop on the side of the road. I had the brake fully pressed, but it suddenly surged forward and couldn't be stopped no matter how hard I pressed the brakes. I drove very cautiously on the way back, and another time I was approaching a T intersection and a semi was coming from my left, and it surged forward, and I had to pop it into neutral to stop the Uhaul. When I got it back to the shop, I told them about the situation and they said they would take it out of service to get repaired. So it wasn't their fault, and I'm glad nothing worse happened. I appreciate that they took this seriously - I've never experienced something so uncontrolled like this. I just hope that they get this problem fixed before sending it out again on the road. Very dangerous!
