The safety chains were too long, and dragging on the road. Normally, no big deal. But the Uhaul chains could not be adjusted without removing the locking carabiner clips. They were sealed closed with a locking "glue". Fortunately, I had two adjustable wrenches with me -- which were needed in order to remove the caribiner. The safety chains SHOULD BE EASY TO ADJUST BY THE CONSUMER. The Uhaul safety chains are very difficult to adjust for length, and impossible if you do not have tools with you. THIS IS A MAJOR FLAW.

LYLE GVicky at the pickup location was great - very kind and patient. With regards to the truck, while it was indeed clean, The front end and steering was very loose, the streeting wheel was off-center, making highway driving challenging.
