Wasn’t impressed we had to go to Wingham to pick up a truck when we booked the truck to pick up in Walkerton. Plus we lost 1.5 hours because we waited for guidance to get the key. Then we became even more frustrated when we parked the truck in Durham where 2 trucks of the same price were sitting there already. We feel we should have been reimbursed the extra mileage for going 25 minutes outside of our way. Pretty sure you just say there is no truck available to make people go out of their way so you can charge the extra mileage. Pretty sure we are done after this experience

No one was there when dropped off
GIOVANNI MVern was great to deal with when the app would not work due to lack of cell services. However the back of the unit smelled like rotting meat and food, because there WAS rotting meat and food in the back along with a sticky red substance all over the floor. We had to go to the local dump to empty out all the items and garbage left in the truck. Not I ly the back, but front of the truck. Also had to clean the unit before we could use it. We made a complaint to U-Haul directly and they said they would pass along our complaint. Since that time, we have heard nothing from the location - silence. I have a mixed view of the location. The owner Vern was excellent, though the truck was disgustingly horrible!
