Fortunately I wasn't as pressed for time as other renters. At least 5 of us had a 9am reservation to pick up our trailers/trucks and we arrived prior to 9am. We stood in line for nearly an hour due to technological difficulties. The employees were very apologetic and kind about the matter. I had a reservation already online, but they did a whole new reservation for the wrong size trailer. They left wires connecting my vehicle and trailer dragging on the ground. Also during 4 day trip it rained 2.5 days and last night it snowed. Rain and snow all got in the trailer and everything from the middle back was sopping wet!!!!Rosalie W.
Two things. Mainly the truck had been smoked in before we got it. My wife and I were in the truck for over 12 hours in two days with that smell. We both had head aches. Second. The front wheel straps were useless. I had to buy straps to secure the car.CHRISTOPHER P.

Parking for the customers was horrible, as the store front location was blended in with another store. As I walked into the store I was not greeted and stode in the middle of three service counters, not sure which one was the uhaul desk. Upon my entering the building, I spoke and no one acknowledged my presence. I was the only customer in the store at the time and didn't hear anyone on the phones talking to other customers. Now let talk about the parking lot, on the day I returned the truck there was a semi car show with many Trump supporter and they had taken over the parking lot. My car was almost blocked in when I returned to get it by this group, I know that is beyond your control, however it added a negative vibe to my experience at this location. Finally the cleanliness of the truck was terrible, the interior was dirty and clearly this truck had been used to haul various item, and had been in contact with some inanimate objects during its short rental life, the truck only had 19k miles and looked like it was ten year old. Every side of the vehicle was damaged. When asked about insurance, I was informed that uhaul doesn't deal with personal insurance so any damages, they would want their money from me directly, I'm use to rental companies asking for my insurance info as an option and not hearing this is not an option. 10 dollars is not a lot, but I have insurance as a driver so why double pay. I would suggest the staff numbers be increased to service the units at this location. This experience has solidify my decision to purchase a truck very soon.JAMES M.

The U-Haul representative attached trailer incorrectly. We were assured the correct hitch size was used despite our questioning. After completely loading the trailer, we headed home and the trailer released from the hitch after an hour of travel on an extremely busy highway with nowhere to pull off. We are lucky no one was injured or lost a life while having to re-hook the trailer, this time on the correct size hitch.LAURA H.

I lost my garage door opener in the U-Haul truck and couldn't find it. The U-Haul staff did and called me to let me pick it up. At the same time, U-Haul accused me of taking one of their keys from the key chain. I don't remember a second key and couldn't find it anywhere! When I returned to U-Haul to face the music, the manager told me that U-Haul made a mistake -- they had the second key. He profoundly apologized. The best measure of a quality of a business is NOT their actions, but rather how they respond to mistakes! Everyone makes mistakes! U-Haul addresses their error in a responsible and thoughtful manner. They're GREAT!STEPHEN M.
