For the most part everything was really good, staff was friendly. Trailer was buried in a snow drift, had I not had 4x4 I would have never been able to hook on to it. I sort of thought they would have maybe pulled it out of the snow bank, check lights and what-no prior to pickup time. Not a big deal, the trailer was in excellent towing condition with good tires and all lights worked.

Snow piled at lot everywhere. No empty spot for drop off so I dropped auto trailer in front of office in the lot. It has a big lot, but equipment all over the place and lot piled up with snow. I think a drop off area be designated and snow removers should be hired to clean up the off hours drop off area. Driver side back light of trailer not working. Ratchet straps had accumulated snow. We did cleaned them up in -45 outside and ratcheted the straps tightly but when we stopped at Flying J in Headingley in Winnipeg, the straps were completely loose and off the loaded vehicle tires. I requested a truck driver at Flying J and that gentleman helped me to remove the straps and redo them tightly in -45 with windchill (thanks to that gentleman). We then bought more straps and put on new straps for our safety. We stopped after an hour and the trailer built in straps were very loose again. Thankfully the straps we bought were tight and holding up. Note that, straps will tighten up initially but after driving sometime, they will become loose. Tires of trailer are not meant to drive in such cold weather of MB or SK. The brakes on trailer were not working which I think either trailer do not have brakes or the tires are in bad shape. In such cold the trailer should not go on road without winter tires and full tread. We drove at 8:30 pm from pickup location and reached Yorkton at 9:30 next morning driving all night. We were very careful and drove at 40-50 to be safe on our Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI. We arrived safe but this trailer should not be rented again until spring or until tires are replaced, light is fixed, ratchet straps are replaced. Location owners should be trained not to rent equipment without full inspection and signing off the inspection report by the location franchisee. Please be respectful to the lives of people.
