I was sent to the wrong location for my pickup (Valley Market) and had to walk from one place to the next since my ride had dropped me off and left. When I got to the Livingstone location, the gentleman was good. The location did not have the appliance dolly I had reserved so needed to drive to a third location to pick that up. Once I had all the equipment I needed, the experience was good. But prior, was very very frustrating.

This was the worst experiance I have ever had. We were screwed over.. regardless of booking our truck 3 weeks in advance. Uhaul messed up our rental and because of this we got our truck for less time, plus it was 5 feet smaller than the one we originally booked... 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. Never again.

This comment is not for the store but for your head office that take customer calls for over the phone booking. I called on Saturday to get a uhaul on Sunday and was told that I was booked for pick up the next morning. Then, I got a call saying my booking has been cancelled as there are no uhaul's available for Sunday. First of all, Why would you confirm a booking without checking with the dealer itself. On top of that, I called again ad booked for Sunday to pick up from Livingstone.The booking was confirmed by the head office on the phone but I was told to go to the shop and check with them. I went there the scheduled day in hope of getting a uhaul as I had already taken a day off for the moving. when I get there, I was told they are all book. I wasted an entire day because the head office could not communicate with the dealer in Abbotsford. I ended up rescheduling the move to Wednesday and had to take another day off. All thanks to your head office in Vancouver. Why would you have a head office for over the phone booking if they are going to cancel on people. Head office phone booking sucks, but the Livingstone dealer was good. Kudos to him.

The truck was about 1.5 hrs late due to another customer being late, which put me way behind and there was no offer of a different truck. There should be an offer of another vehicle not just oh well. I spoke extensive about the size of the apartment and what they would recommend for size and both the truck and storage unit were not even close to being big enough, which in turn caused more major delays.

This wasn't the location in which I had scheduled my pick up. I was sent here because the location I had booked for called me the afternoon before my moving day to tell me they had no truck for me all of a sudden. The truck seats were also covered in dog hair upon pickup.

Truck Share is the same numbers of vehicles on the, just spread out throughout the day or a single 24hr rental broken into 4hr chunks. Charging 6 clients to use a truck in a 24hr period or charging one client. That's a stretch to suggest this initiative is for the "environment" & not UHaul profit margins. The last 3 times I've booked a UHaul at one location I've had to pick it up at a different, much farther location & pay for extra Km's. Compensating clients for the extra time & Kim's would be a greatly improve the experience for the next customer.

I requested a 17' truck in Chilliwack BC. Was given a reservation number. Was called 2 days before pickup date and was told the closest truck was in Abbotsford and 15'. I drove 70 miles total during contract and 60 Miles of this was just to drive to and from Uhaul location. I was hoping I would get some sort of discount for having to drive this far for a truck as I was told I had a reservation confirmed for Chilliwack. THe location staff as great. But no to happy that $65 of my $187 bill was simply to drive to and from my wanted location and the closest truck

guy was nice enough. Just really busy and had to deal with a gas station as well. To much for one person. Also forgot to give me back my license. So I drove from Abby to Vancouver completely unaware of this. Now it's a pain for me to get it.

Worst customer service ever. Incurred tolls during my rental which I paid the day of the rental. Tried to confirm payment through live chat and was told I needed to call in. Called in and was on hold for over 30 minutes and gave up. Received an invoice for payment and disputed the charges. Email response said contact within 48 hours. One week later and no response but my credit card has been charged. Call customer service and they tell me to send an email. Very very bad customer service. I will not recommend U-Haul to any friends.

I was told over the phone my pick up time was 7am, went there and it was closed! I was pissed off because I specifically requested that time because it was an arranged move into an apartment. Didn't get the truck till 9am, spent the day rushing to move my stuff. Not good! The truck windshield was filthy, looked like it hadn't been washed in a while
