Came to drop off the truck off on a Friday durning normal business hours and no one was there, I even called a few times and no answer, the place looks super sketchy with a dirt road which was full of semi trucks as well as broken down vehelices. While i wasn't comfortable leaving the truck there because the place looked like a chop shop. So, finally i reached someone on saturday and they verified that this was a haul place and that it is in fact open and I can bring and drop the truck off and so i did. Then Uhaul turned around and tired to charge me for no one being in the office durning normal business hours, I got on the phone with corporate office explained the whole situation and they said yes i was right to do what i did and i wouldn't be charge a late fee. Well guess what, 10 days later they charged me a late fee.

While booking a truck that showed availability at the U-Haul closest to me. I was later emailed that they have no trucks available and was given another place to pick up which was 7 miles away meaning I had to pay for an extra 14 miles. While driving to the new location I passed the U-Haul rental place I had originally chosen and there were numerous trucks in their lot. Drop off and pick up online went very smoothly. I had no issues finding the keys or the truck. The truck was past its prime, but it did the job it was needed for so I have no complaints.

Henry aIt was ridiculously expensive. I moved my daughter from La Crosse to Chicago one year ago and it cost less than $200 for a one-way truck. Moved her back from Chicago to La Crosse and it cost almost $800 just one year later.
