I could not use to uhaul truck due to no storage units available, so I drove to my home and back to uhaul.put 2 miles on it and still got charged full price. Employee was not sympathetic at all knowing I did t even use the truck.

This location was very helpful . I originaly ordered this trailer over six month before my need date at the kent location. Had i not checked i would not have had the item i needed would not been available or at the location i requested (kent). I find not having or being told that item would be miles from my requsred location i find to be extemely bad business . This impaces what i plan and shows that your firm does believe in providing customer. You had adequate notice of time to provide item to the requested location. You firm needs to improve customer service .had i had alternate busness to rent from i would have done so!,,,!!!!!!!

Make sure someone is at the counter to help a customer when they come in to pick up a item on reservation. The lady that helped me was very nice and helpful but she had to clock in first and there was two other employees I’m guessing a manager and worker that was out of sight when I came in looking for help.

It was a horrible experience. Proper information for storage unit was not properly explained because the manager of the store so rudely interuppted the girl helping me. Different quotes from 3 different people. I was so upset I spoke with corporate and they said there wasn't a damn thing they could do about it, especially by a guy named Christian. It wasn't worth the headache and yet I had to fork over plenty of cash. Yes up for sure!!

I had requested a utility dolly but was given an appliance dolly (at no additional cost) which was heavier and bulkier then the Utility dolly. I was informed that they had run out.

The ramp door on the 6x12 trailer I rented was bent and only one of the securing pins would fit in it. Not a big deal, but it’s something that should be fixed.

The owner was unwilling to give a cheaper price for the cost of the cargo van rental after the customer explained that a cheaper price was able to be charged which was identified by a different location. The best price guarantee was generated by the computer and because of that the cheaper price was unable to be considered.

When I returned the trailer and explained that it had a leak in the front of the trailer and many items were wet and some clothing had to be discarded...I was told that the trailers are not waterproof, just water resistant???? I understand that water could come in at the door (so we used plastic to creat a barrier..but the having the hitch side leak? The leak must affect the top lights because the cut on and off as we were driving. Quality was not as I expected.

Yesterday, I rented a 10' truck and there was a mistake in the gas tank level when I checked it out of the Akron store. The representative at the Akron location told me that I would be given a truck with a full tank of gas, and that I should fill the tank back up to the level that I received it. I drove the truck down the street and a few minutes into the drive I realized that the gas tank was actually only filled to the 3/4 mark. So, I tried to record the odometer reading to ensure U-Haul that I had only driven the truck a couple miles when it the gas tank read 3/4 full. Unfortunately, the digital screen did not show the odometer; instead the screen showed a notification about required tire service. While at the Akron U-Haul store a representative told me that I could call their number 330-633-5037. So, as soon as I reached my destination a couple miles down the road, I called the store but was unanswered so my call was redirected to a representative from a different U-Haul location. This representative told me that an odometer reading should have been given to me prior to the rental, but I was never informed of the odometer reading and that information was not recorded on the documents that I was given. The representative ensured to me that my question and concern would be recorded, the Akron U-Haul store would be notified, and that I should expect a call from the local store very soon. I never received a call from the Akron store, so when I filled the gas at the end of my 32 mile day, I filled it to the level in which I received it. Actually, I filled it to a higher level than I received. I was charged $8.50 from the Akron store because the fuel tank was not filled to the full mark when I returned the truck. It is unfortunate that my message was not communicated to anybody at the time, even though I was told I could call the local store if I had any questions or concerns.

My mileage was obviously off and, unfortunately, did not notice until I was charged for 56 miles when I had only traveled about 33. I did write something in conjunction with this on another email associated with my experience and my final bill. I'm sure this is a case where the vehicle's mileage was not updated when it was transferred in or updated incorrectly. I know that it's not a huge difference in cost but it's all important to me when I'm on a tight budget and trying to even justify the rental of the vehicle today. Thank you

My original reservation was with the location on Fountain st for 9am on 7/21. They however did not have my truck there. She only offered to call another location which thankfully had a truck available. I had a mattress not so secured to the top of my vehicle that I had planned on just putting in the truck at the Fountain location . Mind you my nerves were bad driving from my home to that location with that mattress on my car and now I have to drive 7-8 to another location. The employee at the Fountain location only offered to take a “couple” of miles off. However , when I got to the Tallmadge location he was unaware of any “deals” that the Fountain street employee offered. The gentleman at the Tallmadge location was professional, friendly and much appreciated.

Had picked up truck, loaded it and by the time I turned it back on it didn’t start. Had to find a neighbor that had jumper cables to help me. I called to complain and they didn’t care but tried selling me a storage unit instead of taking care of the situation. Very disappointed
