The first guy was not very helpful. He told me that he couldn't remove CWD coverage. When I had my own coverage. very misleading and dishonest. He never checked the van to see anything in the van. When I entered the van the dolly was in the back of the van. Also, the first guy gave me the copy agreement. In a very small font. Which I thought was misleading. Right away I felt misleading. In any transaction I would make sure my customers knew what the cost of an item was more or less to assure the saving would save. A cashier for 10 years, five years at Superstore Metro town and Walmart in North Vancouver. The 1/4 fuel gauge charge. The gauge was not 1/4. So I should not have to paid extra. I paid per km at .99 per km. The second guy wanted to charge me for 2 days. Also he charge me 2 times for CWD. He never told me what he was going to charge. I found him very misleading and could have breach material information. This 2nd guy so rude and misleading. I think I have been over charge $32.00 and $39.90 fuel charge. Clean. Good condition. Picked up through mobile app. Requested for a dolly but it wasn't in the car which is a little frustrating but thankfully we didn't need it after all and got a refund immediately through online chat.
Howard DI recently rented a cargo van from U-Haul, and I was very disappointed. When I picked it up, the van was already dirty. Fortunately, I recorded a video at the time of pickup showing its condition. Despite this, U-Haul still charged me a cleaning fee for a mess I didn’t create. This is unfair and unacceptable. I hope they review their process so customers don’t get wrongly charged like I was. If you rent from U-Haul, I recommend recording a video when you pick up the vehicle to protect yourself.
