I have used this location in the past , and have always been favorably impressed by the courteous, helpful staff, condition of vehicles, and cleanliness of the facility - even the restroom! This time, my return experience was so horrid that I will not choose U Haul again, and will advise friends not to. The young man checking rental in began fine. I mentioned that I misplaced my cell phone at home prior to the return, and requested use of the phone to call for my ride home. He jerked me around, having me dial an assortment of prefix numbers, all which went to some poor soul who claimed he had been receiving calls from the number all that day. When I asked the staff member to use, or have him call my ride fro his cell, he claimed he did not have one. Over a period of 45 minutes, he had some apparent friends come in. I asked both the man and woman the same, receiving the same answer. I overheard them making some arrangements for the use of a vehicle for some special price, or free. They continued to visit, despite my numerous requests for help making the call. Iwas told the company phone must not be working. I find it hard to believe that not one of these young people did not have a cell phone with which to help me. I am 62 and white. I can only believe they were actively discriminating against me for one or both reasons, I finally went out to street where a passing young couple offered me their phone to make my all. God Bless them. You should be hiring people with scruples and care for fellow human beings., and fire the unconcerned, and unhelpful man you have on that shift. He is an embarrassment to your business.

Contract No.: 81214472 1/4/19 Eugene Pardo installed a Class 111 hitch on my Subaru Forester SUV with great attention to detail. He carefully followed all the instructions accompanying the hitch installation. Especially impressive was the communication he shared showing he how the hitch was positioned. This was so valuable because I had no personal knowledge about the procedure prior to coming to U-Haul on Oddie Blvd. In addition, Miguel Flores-Vasquez, General Mgr., listened carefully to and responded to my questions when I made the appointment the previous day. I definitely recommend this location for anyone needing U-HAUL services. I give it a 5 Star rating.

Poor shifting needed transmission service

I reserved a 10' truck online & completed the online "quick check-in". When we arrived at the location the associate couldn't find my reservation after a 15 minute wait for 1 customer before us, then told us they had no 10' trucks available. I was very upset but told him I would take the next larger size truck because a pick-up truck or cargo van was way too small for the items we were moving. He did all the paperwork, gave us the keys and pointed out the location of our vehicle. When we walked out there, we couldn't find a truck with the same number as the key. When my husband pushed the "unlock" button on the key fob, a cargo van beeped. I almost screamed. We went back inside and waited another 15 minutes for the guy to tell us that we requested a cargo van, which we definitely did NOT. It took him another 10 minutes (or more) to delete the first reservation. He then reached behind him and grabbed keys to a TRENDY MOVER, 10' foot truck and started the paperwork all over. 20 minutes later he finally hands over the keys, with no contract, because he couldn't figure out how to print it out. We lost over 2 hours of our very busy day, including missing the baptism we were supposed to attend. What a horrible experience.

When I pick up the uhaul on Central, but I reserved online at a different location on central and eubank. A uhaul customer service call and said I have to pick up my uhaul on central & san pedro. I went inside and ask for my reserved uhaul online, they have me redone all my info and select the option I wanted again. The guy that help me had me refilled my info, we got to the payment process and I made the payment of $50. Everything was done, then he said his computer crash. So he had to refilled everything again him self, and I have to pay another additional $15.11, so I did and when I come back to drop off the uhaul, my total was $80 for 31 miles drive. I realized that he had me on a saving insurance that I didn't request when I send my revised uhaul. I talk to him about and he told me that was on my request, which he computer crashed and he returned my info. Anyway I got $14 refunded, when the charge was $15.11. I didn't even get the full refund, when he made a mistake on his end when he was refilling my info back. Unsatisfied with results, even tho he did refunded $14 back, and even when you fill up little more then 1/4 tank, but that not my issue. Just my refund not fully a accommodate. Thanks that he did help me fix a part of the issue. Uhaul should representative should make sure they get people info correct when their computer, and conforming information with customers before for submitting the rental to make sure that they got the information right, before submitted.

Young man at counter was professional but not very friendly. Tried to engage in conversation but was somewhat ignored. Could have been having a bad day. Did not let it bother me. Was not offered any help on checking over rig, or any info on operating said truck. Think a quick once around which would allow any questions on my part should be part of the package. Again, overall very happy with the truck.
