Was told I could drop the trailer off here that there would be somebody while they're closed on Sundays so I left the trailer I will be back tomorrow to close out my contract

Good: the check-in and check-out procedures were quick and easy. Staff was friendly and professional. Not-So-Good: the van was clean but the oil only had 17% life left and I was leaving for a 3000 mile trip. The windshield wipers were almost useless. Passenger side windshield washer sprayer did not work properly and caused reduced vision. Bad: changes were made by the company only days before pick-up. Used 'live chat' to try to clarify and the operator was VERY slow to respond and had no clue what she was doing. She created more questions for me due to her ineptitude. I tried calling the 800 number, waited for almost a half hour, and gave up. Never spoke to a representative. (I booked online 2 months in advance and still had to deal with this rigmarole.)

I did not like having to chase equipment down and making reservations for a specific location and then finding out that none of the equipment was at my original location.

They young gentleman that rented the vehicle as well as helped me return the vehicle has EXCELLENCT customer service skills. If he is not a Manager, he should be in Manager Training!!! I will use and or recommend UHaul!!!

Make sure you have the right size truck that is reserved, also make sure you have other equipment like a flat dolly that was unavailable to me and that the representative said had not been available for at least a week (I had to drive to another location across town and got lucky that they had one flat dolly left.) I also got lucky to get the last two bags of blankets.

Opens on Sunday at 9am-which is when my reservation was confirmed for. I was there 2 mins. early. Owner showed up at 9:05 am and opened location. And then I had to wait 5 more mins. for the computer to boot up. Thus, this cost me personal time.

A tire was low (24 psi) when I picked up the vehicle. I had to immediately find air. That should be part of a checklist before renting.

The truck I had pulled to the right. It needs to be aligned. At one point going up a long steep hill some kind of oily fluid leaked underneath the truck. It was clear and caused a lot of smoke. We stopped and let it cool off. It all burned off and from there everything was fine. Don;t know what it was, but you might check that out too.

Although this place is right near my home, I usually don't use it. They had a pick up I needed immediately so I used them. Their parking lot is not very easy to maneuver and is tight. After I got the truck, I had to walk to the far back lot to pick it up, over 100 yards and through a pretty rough part of town and no one accompanied me. Generally, the vehicles I rent are right there close to the main office. The truck was smelly and outside it was pretty bug spattered and dirty. The windshield was water spotted. Not at all please with this location.

If returning equipment after hours requires using the Uhaul.com site, the location's staff should explain in detail the steps. I was told just to drop the key in a box. Only later did I realize the whole return process was a bit more complicated. Again, the local staff should explain that. (ie log in before dropping the keys. Take a photo from the return page of the odometer. Document the gas gauge. Etc.)

Gas cap was broken on our truck. Other than that no issues. Was able to make a last minute reservation- pickup within 15 of booking and have a truck for 3 days. Owner was the one who serviced us on pickup. Excellent service by him and his team

Overpriced 10 ft truck rented wasn't properly maintained and probably shouldn't have been on the road oil pressure would go all the way up and the engine would idle very high
