I had requested a truck. They told me one wasn't available and offered a van. I asked if I could fit a queen size mattress standing upright in there and was assured that I would be able to. Not true. So now instead of being able to do it all in one load, I had to make 2 trips, which increased my mileage, and therefore my bill. Not impressed.

U-Haul's problems come with the booking system not with their location customer service. I booked in January 6 to use the equipment in January 20th and I received a text the night before the rental pickup that had all the information for pick up changed since they didn't have the equipment I needed available.

The person at the counter didn't seem to know what he was talking about; he told me twice I could return my U-Haul at any location in my city. When I tried a location they told me that was incorrect. Luckily they managed to sort it out so I didn't have to drive an extra 45 minutes out of my way, but it was still a hassle to deal with after a long day of moving.

EXcellent service. A lot of ice and snow and freezing rain which made running a business like this tricky but it went without a hitch. Parking lot and walk way was a bit slick but that may not be this business issue as it’s in an industrial park complex

UHaul should really book their trucks more customers friendly. When someone request a place for pick up that should the place!!!!!! UHaul also should give more advance notice that the pick point has change not the day before!!!!! I will never use UHaul again!!!

Tried to drop off in abbotsford. Staff was not at all accomidating. Refused to take vehicle, told aldergrove only 5 min away,have to take it to them! Aldergrove is 20 plus minutes away. Would never recommend Abbotsford uhaul!

I booked the truck for 8 am on the website, but the location wasn't open till 9 and when I got there the truck wasn't ready. I didn't get out of there till 10.

Was scheduled to pick up truck at 8am at south fraser way location, when i got there they told me i should have gotten an email telling me to pickup at aldergrove location. So i drive there getting there by 8:15 to find they dont open untill 9am, after waiting around untill 9am, i get an email telling me about the pickup location change. Aswell i still have not gotten my 50$ guarante back.

We picked up a 15 ft truck. Noticed an odour when we got home and looked closer to see that the walls were covered with streaks of animal feces and even blood. The last renters obviously moved animals in it and it was never cleaned nor checked before being rented again. Called and found out it was the only truck available. Spent over an hour scrubbing it out before putting all of my possessions into it. Returned that night and paid full price, which is unbelievable. We were told corporate would contact us and there was nothing she could do about it. Still no word from uhaul 6 days later.

There is no room to park. It is very hard to tell where the office is. The man running the place was very helpful though.

To whom concerned, My experience was terrible as I was guaranteed a 10 ft van at 10am at 5440 Bradner Rd. Abbotsford, B.C. on October 1st only to find out that there wasn't a van when I arrived. This was a huge inconvenience to me as I had to move all my belongings at that time. How does someone have the opportunity to book a van that isn't available? I am seeking a form of compensation for this inconvenience as it should have never happened. Please contact me at 778-531-1234 as I would like to escalate this experience. To be clear, my experience at Aldergrove mini storage was great and the lady there was a great representative of U-Haul however it was the first experience at 5440 Bradner Rd. that was a let down. No one told the place closed at 5 when I booked for a 5:30 pick up. Got charged for a $25 clean up fee and have no idea why when I had the truck 4 hours and had no mess in it. Worst service ever.

Booked online- down loaded the app-could not access 6 diget code from black box.... on hold for too long, Karen tried to help, called back was put on hold for too long again. Finaly the business opened, the owner was able to help us. Then the truck was not properly dispatched, no gas, had to give D/L multiply times along with CC information online, over the phone and in person. Bit of a nightmare on moving day. What is the point of booking online when it was a fiasco. Glad I dont move very often. Also, a phone message, that was partial spoken in what lanuage I do not know.
