Graeme webbI'd like to comment on....'Would you recommend this location to a friend?' The fellow that served me did his best. He was patient and friendly. The issue I have is more to do with the 'systems'. It was not smooth. It was not convenient. And it was not quick. I had previously booked everything online w my credit card. So I'm not clear why it took almost an hour at the location to pick up the vehicle. He explained that he was having trouble with the onsite 'terminal' however to me that doesnt explain why he required information from that I had already provided in the online booking. As I said I do not have a problem with the fellow I believe he was doing his best. In addition, The back of the truck was dirty. I had to sweep it out before we used it. The cab surfaces were quite dirty. Steering wheel was sticky had to wipe it and other control knobs down before driving. Based on the fellow I would use this location again. Based on time and convenience and cleanliness of the vehicle I would not.

He called me early that morning and met us at the location to keep our plans on schedule.

I had to spend extra money & time. All my plans which were lined up got delayed and cancelled. Terrible experience

John MurphyDuring pick up truck was at 1/4 of a tank, which makes it difficult to judge when refilling and very inconvenient. Smelled in the cab and box like Marijuanas. Ordered truck online with 2 dollys and was not informed until picking up the truck that they had no dollys available. was forced to buy 1 dolly for 90 dollars due to not being informed. Was not a pleasant experience.
Mat collinsI originally booked my reservation for a neighborhood dealer location in Abbotsford along Huntingdon Road. When I arrived, the representative was on a personal phone call that he continued while I was trying to give him my information. He informed me that my reservation was actually for the Langley U-Haul location and I’d have to go there. I explained that I had an email confirming my pickup for the Huntingdon location and I showed it to him. He asked to have a closer look at the email so I let him hold my phone to see. A few moments later, he turned my phone towards me to show a text confirmation for the Langley location that had been sent to me the day after I made my reservation. I was immediately upset that he went through my personal messages without my consent. I asked for my phone back and agreed that the secondary text confirmation listed Langley as the pickup location, but I explained that it came in later so I assumed it was just reiterating the email confirmation. I then asked for assistance as to how I could get a truck closer to my location because I would’ve had to backtrack to Langley and it would’ve delayed my day too much (I had already booked the elevator in my building for a move out and I wouldn’t have completed the move in time). He told me to call customer service as he couldn’t help me further. The phone number he gave me would ring and immediately hang up. I had to contact a different location myself to be transferred to customer service. Once I got through, I was given great service and an alternative arrangement was made.

Actually the whole process was a pleasant surprise and I had no issues whatsoever and the experience I went through was very positive and I would recommend them . Just from my experience, (only used them once) I would go back if I needed a moving truck in the future🤷🏼, I’m a happy customer 😊

She grabbed 50.00 deposit to return next day and when I did she had the nerve to charge me bullshit all the way if I wasn't renting storage there I would go somewhere else!

NORIS RAYCROFTThe truck was filthy. Garbage left in it. Mud on the inside of the windows. Very poor service. Kept passing the blame onto someone else. Refunded me and then went back in my account the next morning and took money out of my account still kept saying it wasn't her fault it was someone else when it was her location I rented from. Said she didn't want to pay Uhaul the 3% so she did it differently than every other location. Told me should would be in the office and told her I would be right there and of course wasn't even in the office when I showed up. I had to wait 10 minutes and she didn't even answer the phone. Was late picking my Daughter up but told me I had to come in that same day or I would not get my refund. Absolutely the worst service I have ever encountered with Uhaul and I have rented several trucks at different locations before. Never have I had a problem until Aldergrove location. Will NEVER be renting again!!!
Julie Murphyclean out the rental trucks after each use. When we received our rental it smelled like wet dogs or dirty farm animals, we gave it back after 2-3 hours because we couldn’t handle the smell. I vomited because of the smell.!
Angrez kalerI would ensure all information about the location is on the app. It had stated to get the key from the lock box and find the truck in the parking lot beside the storage facility. The truck was behind a locked gate and there was no information on the code to the lock box. I was not able to pick up my truck at the scheduled time and had to wait for the location to open to be able to get it. Was a waste of time.

Tasha PayneTrailer (enclosed) had no tongue jack so connecting and disconnecting would have been impossible when loaded if I didn't use my own hydraulic jack. This should be standard equipment. Also no ability to lock trailer to truck. This is why they routinely get stolen.

Clerk did not wear a mask (she was very efficient and pleasant) Vehicle was filthy, including 3 used masks on the floor as well as food bits and the windshield was too dirty to see out of.
Susan Beechinor-CarterI wanted to rent my van in Coquitlam. Instead I was told I had to go to Aldergrove which meant an extra 40km round trip in the wrong direction for which I had to pay 99c per km for! When I arrived I found out my truck was not there but in Abbotsford, it never arrived in time despite being told it was on the way. Instead I was given a return vehicle 1 1/2 hours after I had requested it which meant I almost missed my ferry reservation and this because of the quick thinking and hard working receptionist at the desk.
Alison RhodesThe only thing keeping this from a 1 star was the nice lady running the desk. Truck had a fuel leak before I got home, took over 4 hours for "roadside assistance" to come help before I could determine if I could continue to load my truck for my move that I had ferry reservations for.

My daughter went and paid it at the location for me on Thursday April 29th and then uhaul itself decided to take out the amount again plus an extra $30 the following Monday and trying to get ahold of someone is ridiculous I’ve been on hold for hours and I’m stuck at home with covid but if I can’t get ahold of someone I will be going down to the location to get this rectified

Bobby RauI received a text message for a drop off location in yarrow when there were 3 other locations way closer right in chilliwack. I was charged the extra miles driving all the way into yarrow when I probably could of drop the truck off in chilliwack without extra costs. Safe to say I will never use your service again. This to me is absolutely poor planning on uhauls part. I would like a refund for the extra $3.90 charged. I know this not a lot of money but sending me far away to drop the truck off when I could of dropped it off at a closer location to save money is insulting. Obviously uhaul is just concerned about their business and NOT their clients. I will never use your service again nor will I ever recommend any Uhaul location to any body I know. Very disappointing in this service. Sincerely Very unhappy (former) customer.
