I selected a location close to me and they switched me to one 15 minutes away the day before the reservation. I feel like that is their new business strategy. Make the customer think they will get a convenient location and then switch them to a bad location when it's too late for them to change plans. When I got to the new location out in the boondocks I was shocked at how un-professional it was. I did not see any signage for UHaul. It was somebody's home with a few UHauls out front. There was no office and nobody out there for me to talk to. Their loose dog chased me away from he house. So I called the number for that location and nobody answered. I started honking my horn and after a few minutes somebody in street clothes came out. From there things were fairly smooth but I may never rent from UHaul again.
Stephen GIt's a very shady neighborhood. No one was at the residence to explain the terms for the rental. Everything was done online. I prefer human interaction.
