I received the truck with the tank half full. I used only 1/4th of a tank, as you can see from the miles I used. I filled it anyway which was $70.00. I should of only had to pay $24.00. I have filled out the on-line fast checkout feature including info about my vehicle and including scans of my drivers license, but the Anchorage office never seems to be able to pull that up. Waiting in long lines is my primary frustration.

I did not rent any equipment in the truck and didn't get any equipment in the truck then was told i used it and stole it and got charged $90 for it and a $5 use fee. I got the truck with 1/4 tank of gas drove the truck 11miles total filled the tank back up to 1/4 tank then returned the truck and got a $30 fill up fee and a 10 gallon fill up charge for $32. I have now been charged $157 more then i should have bee charged. I will be in and pay the $68.38 that i should have payed for this rental not the $225.38 because the company messed up. For the next customer you can look at the truck before you rent it and look at the truck when it comes back so that you don't screw over paying customers who own business and would use and recommend your business to others but instead you would rather overcharge and start a relationship on distrust.

Verify billing. I was charged alot more than what I was told. I returned the truck earlier than scheduled and fueled the truck past the full line when it was at the full line when I picked up the truck. My original bill amount should have been under $70 but instead I was charged over $100. I sent an email and haven't heard anything back yet. This would be the only frustrating part of my experience. Everything was really good and the staff is great! Thank you.

This location was very busy. I was not able to get ahold of anyone when I called. I was always put on hold and the person who answered never came back on the phone. Customer service is lacking. I did not have a bad experience, however I would like there to be better customer service. Thank you.

Cab and cargo area smelled strongly of cigarettes. Really reeked. Counter staff were unfamiliar with checking out vehicles and other staff that were supposed to bring vehicles to the front for use could not be located to bring up vehicles. It looked like there were several new staff members and I can only hope that the service will improve as I rent vehicles multiple times a year.

Watch closely for fraudulent charges on your bill. I turned in my vehicle on schedule, 1 hour and 36 minutes before closing, right under a lit-up neon "open" sign. The check-in employee said all was fine and he would email the updated receipt (I was due a credit because of lower than expected mileage). When the receipt arrived, he had added a $20.00 "after hours service fee."

This was one of the worst experiences ever! I made my reservation online, picking the pickup and drop off location and it then gave me a total of $81.00. The next day when I went to pick up the trailer, they charged us $300 and told us our drop of location doesn't exist anymore and we would have to go to the next town to drop it off. That town is almost 200 miles out of our way mind you. When we tried to return the trailer and figure out a different way to get our new appliances home they said no, and told us its the other locations trailer now you have to bring it there, we won't take it back. Worst costumer service ever, not helpful at all. The web site needs to be updated. I will never be using uhaul again. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Shame on you uhaul.

The equipment worked well. I wanted the damage insurance and asked three Uhaul employees, two of whom are in traffic, for the replacement cost of the trailer I was renting. They were happy enough to read to me the exact pages on the web site that I had in front of me and I had already read; somehow that was supposed to be an answer, but it was more a nuisance than useful. Since Uhaul has its own insurance company, they ought to all able to provide the replacement cost, or so I thought. I asked that they get that info for me. They did not provide that informaton, so my efforts to be properly insured against property damage of Uhaul equipment were drowned in trying to sidetrack the customer. I'm willing to bet I would find out very quickly if I had a wreck and owed Uhaul money for damages. There seems to be something wrong with insuring through Uhaul when they won't tell the customers what the replacement cost will be if the customer totals the equipment. "Is the pea under thimble 1, 2, or 3 ? Place your bets and take your chances at winning." Or losing when Uhaul won't provide the facts that would provide customers the information to make informed decisions about Uhaul's insurance "plans".

The personnel apparently didn't actually check me in and it sat for a couple days, and I only noticed that when I saw a surprise charge on my credit card for two extra days. This is the second time this has happened to me between two different Anchorage U-hauls. I received an email saying that the money was refunded, but once again, it wasn't instant. So now I have to wait up to a few days for money to be available to me in my checking account that should have never been removed. This is BULLSH!T.

I returned the vehicle on time but had to wait in line for 10 minutes . Because of this they charged me double the price without saying anything and sent me a receipt to that effect the next day . When I called to complain they told me it would take 3 days to fix . Not impressed .

The tall white older male was VERY RUDE. How ever instead of being polite to customer he made a rudely statement of how do we want to deal with the vehicle if I don't clean they will charge me 50 but literally that I didn't know there was trash hiding behind the drive seat , this guy reaction was racist. I will never ever refer anybody to this location ever after so long this was my first bad experience at this location on old Seward.
