Employee named Roosevelt Washington or something last that: 1) someone walked in 5 minutes after closing, asked for something, Roosevelt told an employee to just tell that person they were out of that item because it was after hours and he didn't want to deal with it. Cared more about himself than the business. 2) When I returned my vehicle, Roosevelt saw someone familiar standing behind me in line and helped that person before me despite it being clear I was in front of that person. Roosevelt needs to get fired.

In the number of times I have rented form this location, I have never had this much trouble renting a truck. From the CRS not giving me all the lease papers to start with, to billing my card for individual days when I specifically asked to pay cash at the end of the lease, to the roof of the box truck leaking and my boxes/items getting wet, to having my card charged before my lease was totally completed and being told my lease was on 'suspension' until a Manager could contact me to find out how things progressed to my card being charged at all when I had told CSR several times I wanted to pay in cash at the end. By billing my card daily this created over drafts at my bank since I was not expecting the UHAUL rentals to be withdrawn daily from my bank account. ... how to improved better educate your CSR's to know what they can and cannot do for a customer and not make false statements of when billing happens. I placed an order to pick up a Uhaul at 2:30. They call me to say it is at 3:30 instead. Poor customer service.

Although they didn't have the truck I made a reservation for, they provided one that turned out to be a better fit for our needs! I am never disappointed when using U-haul and this location for out moving needs!

The site is small and cluttered but still navigable. The entrance to storage buildings is on an incline and there is a huge metal plate in the floor which catches the wheel of the cart, so I had to lift the cart bottom while someone pushed. Very awkward and impedes ease of access. Also, having to climb11 steps to my storage unit is NOT on the first floor. This is second floor so be sure to tell people that. It would be really helpful if people were told about the double code entry as well. That was super frustrating. Staff was very pleasant however.

Always take pictures. No one checked the fuel gage and I couldn't wait. So I snapped a pick of the mileage with the fuel gage before leaving and when I returned. If I hadn't done that, they'd have charged me more because they assume all vehicles have full tanks. And also always go in to turn in a vehicle. First time I didn't go in because I was told it wasn't necessary and they called me the next day accusing me of keeping their vehicle. This was only my second time and I still have not had a good experience renting their vehicles. But at least I went in and so they know the truck is returned. And the pictures saved me from being wrongfully overcharged.

My guaranteed reservation was not suddenly available. Had to end up with a truck and a trailer that cost me over 150 dollars more, sent in a complaint and expect to be refunded the difference,

I am rating my experience today as below average, due to several issues that arose. first of all there were some warning lights on in the dash. I spoke with a representative before leaving the lot and he assured me that it was fine, they were aware of them. The visor on the drivers side did not have a way to hold it in place, so every bump in the road dropped the visor in front of your face blocking your view while driving, annoying. When I returned the vehicle, the young man that checked me in said, since I had the rental done on my credit card, that I did not need to go into the location and that they would email me my receipt. I thought I should go in and said I had estimated my miles at 20 and said I am not sure if that was accurate, the young man now in the drivers seat of the truck looked at the mileage gauge and said " you are good." So I took my paperwork and left. 10 minutes later I got a text by AMX that my card had been charged an additional $26.86,by UHaul, which mystified me, but on reaching home, I pulled up my receipt in my email and it appears I was charged for a total of 54 miles driven. Which I dispute, I mapped the route from your location to my home at 11300 Jerome Street to Dimond Greenhouse on Dimond Blvd and back to your location, which is exactly what we drove and my map app says the total miles are 14.9, so someone screwed up somewhere with the posting of the miles. I checked out the vehicle at 12:58pm and returned it at 2:47pm hardly enough time to put 54 miles on. I rent with you every spring and fall for the express purpose of transporting my plants between my home and the greenhouse. And each time 20 miles has been more than enough. I immediately called to speak with someone regard this discrepancy and got a nice young lady at your call center, she took the info, name and number and said she would have someone from the location call me. That was at 4pm, I called back and got another call center agent at 455pm explained again the issue, and that I wanted to talk with someone TODAY, since no telling where that vehicle might go tomorrow, knowing that they closed at 5pm, and I was still waiting for the initial call, I told the agent I wanted a call back before they left for the day. No return call was made to me regard my issue, nothing! I will be on the phone first thing tomorrow again trying to get this resolved. Very disappointing! Christine Monette 907-349-8411

There is never any gas in the vehicles. Four in the last week. Also three trips to take care of the same issue is unacceptable. An hour to pick up a U-box because the staff can't figure out the computer system is also unacceptable. I'm really glad I don't have to deal with this place again.

Making reservation and renting was very easy and pleasant. But truck had broken window clank handle and not usable. Person handling return paper work was very slow and trying to persuade me to leave and I did. Return mileage was not recorded correctly. Actual mileage was 126994 but mileage on the receipt was 126999.

It took 40 minutes from time I arrived to when I actually got truck and was able to go. Even though I did express online check-in AND all my info is in your system (I've rented many times) I still have to stand in a long, slow and inefficient line to do paperwork and sign and pay (all of which you already had and I had already agreed to and signed online) AND then I have to go outside and wait 20 more minutes for the yard guy to get to me and then pull out the truck. And the blower fan didn't work in the truck. And the drivers door window seal leaked rain like crazy. Bad service, bad equipment, as usual.

Employees arguing. Owner talking trash about employees. No one would even pull out truck around. Sat there for a half hour with our keys in hand while employees, managers, owners argued about who would go around back to get our cars... completely embarrassing...

The only problem I had was while I was trying to reserve a truck on-line. It was very hard to get to the U-Haul facility that I wished to use. Once I was able to get to the U-Haul facility of my choice, everything went smoothly.

third attempt to send this comment. Van clean. Staff very accommodating and helpful, however van not handicap friendly. Had very difficult time getting in and out and could not leave the vehicle throughout rental period. Semi-fell upon exiting as NOT accessible to handicapped who are mobility impaired..
