I have bene a loyal u haul customer for over 15 years, and now I can say I will NEVER use your company again. I was informed less than 24 hours before my rental that if I wanted the truck I reserved, I would have to drive over a 100 miles away. then when I return the truck you charged me for fuel even though I returned the truck at the same level I picked it up at....what a horrific experience...


The representative was awesome, but we were charged incorrectly for a second day when we used your drop box. Please fix this!

Professional and courteous


Was not able to pick up on time because business was not set up for mobile pick up like it listed so we had to come back 2 hours later. Was also not able to drop off on time because gates were locked even though the business was supposed to be open. There were 3 other people there that were trying to drop off their equipment and were very upset. This location is horrible.

There was a sign on the door saying on call. The person who answered the call on his phone told me to leave the trailer in their parking lot and they would take care of it when they returned. That made me uncomfortable, since someone could just as easily have come by and taken the trailer as there was no one there. I have been there once before and the service was lousy then as well. I will drive further with my business in the future instead of going to this location.

I didn't know that the customer service rep was on-call and off-site. I called the number listed in the window, and I was able to contact the rep. After 20 minutes, he did show up and I was able to drive the 15' truck rental away, with some delay. Does this happen frequently, where nobody is on-site, and the renter has to wait for them to show up?

Tow dolly was missing a tail light fixture. Took a great amount of effort for Uhaul resolve and get me a new tow dolly. Multiple phone calls to Uhaul after being sent to a location that didn't even have. Very stressful as we were moving out of state the next day. I'll be asking for a partial refund.


They were out of the office, but quickly picked up when I called. I was able to leave the truck and drop the key in the box

The worst experience ever. Unqualified help at oak dale Sinclair location. No English refused to help place car on car dolly. Picking up truck at Antalope location east of Sacramento closed at 2 pm our pickup at 3pm. 3 hrs to get it PATHTIC!!!


The front desk guy was a 10!! Very helpful and informative.

A/C didn't work on 103 degree day. Told me there was 5/8 tank of gas less than 1/4. No one there at 2 o'clock Saturday to get a billing invoice


We rented the truck knowing there was a problem with the air conditioning thats the only reason I marked the vehicle was not well maintained. Customer service was great and appreciated the quick service.

The young man behind the desk didn't wear a mask, the truck we ordered was not even at that location nor available, a truck that was just returned, was given to us. A 32 MINUTE TURNAROUND. He told us bluntly he checked the truck and serviced it, when he did not. We did not realize that it was 32 minutes until my son mentioned it, and we brought it up with our storage facility in Oregon and the drop off location, they were able to verify the 32 min turnaround on the truck. Not to mention it was not sanitized between uses, putting me and boys at risk for COVID- 19, as well as my wife who is at a much higher risk of having a fatal outcome if she contracts the virus. Get a more professional representative behind the desk.

I reserved the rental and when arrived to pick it up there was no one available during regular business hours. Had to call a number left on the door and waited for an additional 45 min for the owner to show up. Also made sure the vehicle was refueled and actually put more gas than needed. Come to find out I was charged anyway. This is a small operation and I guess they need to anything to squeeze out more revenue.

Had to wait for personnel to show up. About 10 minutes. Was charged for an extra day when turning the trailer in a day early. Situation finally resolved but should not have happened in the first place.

After having a plethora of problems simply booking the trailer along with location changes and having the online operator book multiple trailer rentals. I arrived at the location to pick up my trailer only to find their computer systems not working and had to wait for significant amount of time before I could leave with the trailer For which I had plans that were delayed.

This is the worst I have ever had! Called and made an appointment when I got there nobody was there, I waited for a while I had to make a phone call finally got service 20 minutes later!Then I get the vehicle end it was dirty inside and out smelled horribly inside like they just sprayed something and it lasted for the 3 days I had truck and when it shifted gears it jerked really hard! Then when I went to return truck and get my bill they tried to charge me an extra $10 a day and a whole extra day so watch out for these guys hard to say what they might do to somebody else that doesn't catch this! WORST U-HAUL EVER!!!!!!!
