I arrived on time, only to discover I was unable to communicate with the staff. No one there spoke any English, and didn’t appear to know what was going on, or how to work the system. I spent an hour waiting for the person at the desk to finally figure everything out after speaking to someone else (unsure who) getting assistance figuring it out. When I finally got the truck, the key wouldn’t go in the ignition, and when it was finally jammed in by one of the staff, it wouldn’t come out. The response I got in return to this problem was a shrug. After relaying this information to the dispatcher Shane, he told me he would look into it and give me some concessions, which I never saw on my bill of the original amount. Because of this key incident, I had to park my Uhaul truck with the key stuck in the ignition and unlocked with all my personal items on the street for several days.
