I dont know how uhaul operates. Whether these independent locations are in charge of maintaining equipment or not. The truck i was given was not safe. Could not take it on the freeway due to very loose steering, as well as a transmission that would redline between gearshifts. I dont know who is "at fault", but i believe it is uhauls fault overall. At this point, I will never choose uhaul as a brand, and will never recommend them.
benjamin sGas Tank was only at 1/4 tank when truck was picked up making it very difficult to determine how much gas to replace. Tank should have been full and then returned full. I ended up giving over a half a tank of gas back beyond the 1/4 tank that was due. VERY expensive!!!
David DThe owner of the gas station was not helpful at all. Actually was rude when I asked her why she isn’t calling uhaul! Her system was not working and she refused to call uhaul.
Colleen WThe truck was a mess (broken glass in cup holder), no windshield washer fluid, sounded like it was going to blow up when accelerating, steering wheel turned sharp to the right just to go straight. Will never be using U-haul again and will never recommend.
