I called the 800 number to extend my contract, the lady was confused and finally transferred me to reservations, who told me my contract would revert back to an in town contract but I ended up paying way more than that. I don't mind the paying as I had changed the contract, just wish the customer call in people were better trained to not give erroneous information....Heartwood Cabinetry location was excellent in customer service though

I reserved a 26’ truck and was provided a 20’ truck with no options to go anywhere else for the truck I actually reserved. This greatly impacted and made more difficult my move of my family of 7. Probably won’t go the uhaul route again. The local agent was excellent however and felt terrible. Unfortunately he was given the wrong information by a company that just doesn’t care.

When reserve ed, two weeks prior to pick up I requested a location 5 miles from my home. The night before pick-up I received an email and a phone saying I needed to pick up at a location over 20 miles from home (40+ miles round trip). The manager offered to meet me before opening as I had a tight schedule Upon arrival, the manager was already there hooking up my dolly. Unfortunately the truck I was supposed to have had a flat tire so trucks were switched. The truck I received just came in, was filthy inside and out - which the manager offered to clean and I refused as I had a crew at home waiting on me. The truck also had allot of damage to the doors and seals which made in almost impossible to hear my wife and the glove box was broken. Upon hooking up the dolly to the truck I found the right tail light inoperative which would have to be repaired, I was offered a trailer instead but I was in a hurry and the trailer would make the long trip more difficult. While we were repairing the light another customer showed up and the manager went to help them and I finished the job fixing the light. At the very end he returned. I know he was put in a difficult position and he did as well as he could. The truck and trailer operated without problem except for the window leak in door.
