customer service was good..however the first truck we received had the check engine light on. Another delay waiting for another truck. Extremely congested at the facility.

Ran into staff after hours who was very helpful dropping off trailer. I really appreciated his helpfulness which gave me a higher level of comfort.

How about when you make a reservation you make sure there is the equipment there on time. I had a reservation and had to go to three different locations and take an extra hour of my time up. The woman at the first location was amazing and helped me out so much. The man at the greyhound station(my second location) was completely disrespectful and not willing to help at all and had the worst attitude. Went back to the first location where the amazing woman got me in contact with the field manager and finally got sent to the river road location, which I had request I wanted to go to when making my reservation. I had to get a bigger truck than I reserved which probably costed me extra in gas but got it for the same price as the smaller one. Maybe uhaul can start checking out and keeping an eye out at all these small vender locations and make sure the equipment is there and waiting for people who take there time out to make a reservation and use your company.

The gentleman helping us, Jonathan Smith, was really great. He quickly processed our paperwork, answered all our questions, and explained everything to us. He was great to deal with.

Make sure clients know that your smaller trucks have no ramps; that the hand trucks are in good shape. Ours was not and broke at the rusted weld, which could have resulted in injury. That the clerks finish with one customer before moving on the the next. Half way through my interaction, after he finished inspecting the truck, I came back in and he was waiting on another client, instead of finishing with me. This is exceptionally poor customer service. I called the night I rented the truck to tell about the handtruck breaking and I'm still waiting to hear from you and that same clerk refused to refund my money on the broken truck. And I'm still waiting to hear from U-Haul regarding my complaints. Never again!

The inside of the truck had peanut shells in the cup holders. Candy wrappers in door. Something sticky was all over the turn signal.

My associate was great! She is extremely polite and friendly even when her boss is jabbing her with secretly veiled insults repeatedly. Very sweet person. ??

there is no overnight parking at this facility and customers need to be aware of this before they book. I also received a small charge on my card after turning in my van but never got an emailed receipt from them after using the overnight drop off. This van was cleaner when I returned it than when I received it, the van was under the estimated mileage and it was returned with more fuel than it had when I checked it out. I was expecting a small refund not a charge. It sure would have been nice and more professional of this location to email an itemized receipt.

I think uhaul's policy about not reimbursing extra fuel is unfair. I unintentionally put in more gas than I meant to. I picked up the truck with 5/8 of a tank and returned it almost full. It would have been easy for uhaul to pay me the difference. Now I will find another option for a rental truck when I remove my items from storage by the end of June. Thanks for reading this, Daniel Simmons

Stop trying to get over on people with the gas, I rented a uhaul & it just so happened I recorded a video of me walking around the truck for damages and getting in the truck for gas millage after using the truck putting gas back in it after driving my 16 miles returned the truck & the lady said I did not fill the tank back up & I owe $17.50 (LIES) I hit her with the video & receipt so...fyi pay attention?? And another thing that did not sit to well...you have to park your personal vehicle across the street in the gravel near the river to rent out they equipment, I feel as if you doing business with them your car should be able to stay on they property after all you are a customer of theirs!

Let customer know that the drop-off location would be closed on day of return and that the 6 x 12 trailer would be too heavy for customer to lift off of suv's hitch. I had a terrible time getting the trailer unhitched by myself. The average customer could not have used a ratchet strap and junk left around location to devise a winch stand to lift the tongue.

Waited 30 minutes in line for my reservation. Only one person working, not great customer service. The amount of customers require more people working.

Two of the pair of tires on the truck (back passenger side) were dry rotted and the inside tire blew as we were approaching Morgantown. The tire blew with such force that it bent the exhaust pipe, and it punched a hole in the side of the truck. When the Roadside Assistance person arrived he said the other three pairs of tires looked new, but this pair was dry rotted. He put two new tires on the truck and had to cut off the part of the exhaust pipe that came through the outside of the truck. We had to drive the truck a short distance to get to safety, but if we had had to go farther, there could have been a carbon monoxide issue for those in the cab of the truck.

I was in line when customer was berating your employee. I think your employee's name was Jonathan Smith, but I can't remember now. Anyway, this customer accused your employee of being surly, disrespectful, or something along those lines. Just so you know, this customer was being pretty rude and Jonathan was extremely professional throughout the experience, from my point of view.

When I was checking out, it was noted that I had driven exactly the 30 miles I had estimated I would be driving, so the estimated amount -- $42.93 -- was the final amount. However, the guy checking me out said "52.93," which took me aback a little bit. I said, "Wait a minute: it's supposed to be $42.93, exactly what it says on the paperwork." He said, "That's what I said: '$42.93.'" I said, "No you didn't: you said $52.93." He said, "No, I didn't." Anyway, we went back and forth like that, with him never admitting that he had said anything but $42.93. The question is: why would I have brought anything up, if he had said exactly what was on the paper? I mentioned that, if the customer says, "You said $52.93," you might want to go with the customer in that situation. Unfortunately, he continued to insist that he never said $52.93, so I just left -- with a very bad taste in mouth re U-Haul. I realize you can't train everybody perfectly, but you might want to impart at least one or two "people skills" to some of your folks. Luckily, everybody else in the branch is so nice, and so competent, that I'll have no problem renting from you again..

Very flexible and allowed us to pick up the trailer a day early with little notice. This may have contributed to a less than clean trailer with low tire pressure.
