It was really nice having a large well stocked place that was open on Sunday. We had planed to use a large trailer that a friend has, but a wheel bearing problem forced a change at the last minute. UHaul to the rescue.

Because of this location I will never use uhaul again. I have already put a phone call in to your home office. I don't know who was worse.. the general manager or employee. The manager had no control of my poor experience. She also took the employee's side when I complained. The Boone location was awesome, but the Asheville location more than ruined my experience. I will let friends-family know.

The trailer for the ubox was missing the ramp and the the clearance light lens were missing. The straps were missing.The dealer who picked the trailer up for me said the manager Steven was very helpful with the trailer and got them the straps but did not have the ramp. But the guys at Jim Campen Trailer Sales got me a different ramp so I could do my move. They are the dealer where my ubox's were stored ,they had to rent and go pick this trailer up for my move. Yes I said the dealer had to rent this trailer from another dealer so he could get me the trailer I needed. Thanks to the guys at Jim Campen Trailer Sales at 14 Airport Rd, Arden NC. These guys went way beyond the call of duty to make my move a success. Uhaul Corporate should be thankful they have a dealer like Jim Campen Trailer Sales on Airport Rd in Arden NC. They are the real deal dealer. Thank you guys at Jim Campen's for your help.

The website for after hour drop off was pretty horrific. It really needs to be updated. Could not submit it at all after doing everything it wanted me to. Eventually, I just called and spoke to someone. Wasted 45 minutes trying to deal with the website.

Very busy location which means wait times are long even for returns. I reported that I had to redo the sleeve connectors on the trailer lights. No offer to pay me for the work done etc. but very friendly. My returned trailer was sent back out immediately (I watched them hook it up) and I hope my patched to your wiring hold.

The quote we received via phone was $30. When we went to pick up our truck, the customer service rep charged us $80 without notifying us of the change or even giving us our total before we swiped the card. Immediately, we ask to have a smaller trailer, because we needed first and last months rent as well as a security deposit for our new place and we knew money would be tight. He completed a return, but then informed us that it would not post until the following week. He then expected us to tack on another $30 for the trailer. We called the bank, they advised us that he should have run it as a replacement, not a return. They said they could expedite the refund if someone from the business called with their merchant number. He did not know, and seemed not to care. We insisted that he call the manager at home. The bank assured us that a manager should know the merchant number but when we contacted the manager she had no idea what we were talking about. They gave us the runaround until 6:14, making us wait while they filled propane tanks for other customers. Finally at 6:14, they called the bank to assist us. Unfortunately, due to their slow, incompetent service the bank had closed 14 minutes before. We almost overdrafted our account because of their rude, thoughtless error. The young man working there was dismissive, unhelpful, and rude. The manager didn't seem to know any of the information the bank was asking for. All of this could have been avoided if the customer service associate had just confirmed our total before asking us to swipe our card. Why even give out quotes if the actual total will be three times more than quoted?

We called because of unforeseen problems on our trip which would make us late for drop off. Was told when called customer service center some of the late fees would be waived. When we arrived to drop off in Asheville, there was no mercy. We have spent over $30,000 with Uhaul in the past 3 years and feel there is no incentive to use uhaul in the future. We are disappointed with your customer service team and customer loyalty plan

The two vans I rented were in good condition, but not entirely clean. I would also recommend to streamline the rental process. In renting 2 vehicles, I had to communicate my information twice over the phone to reserve and two more times when I got on site to pick up. Seemed like the only information that carried over was my name and number. I even got two links for surveys. Another issue I had was that I was quoted a different price over the phone than what was discussed in the store. I was diligent in my phone conversation about potential charges and was only quoted the $39.99 two-day rental per van, plus mileage and environmental charge. When I got to the store the insurance and gas refill information were given. That $40 rental shot up over $100 per van before I drove off.

I returned this equipment on Wed September 7, 2016. But receipt states I returned it on Sunday 9-11-2016. Asked for a receipt but they said I don't get one. Later an inaccurate receipt was emailed to me stating equip returned on Sunday 9-11-16. Confusing..... ?

Your "express check-in" was a joke. I filled out all the electronic paperwork, but found that I still had to pretty much do it all over again once I got to the store. I doubt I'll bother to do that again.
