I followed the online check in procedure, but still had to enter the store. The Person at the desk at 10am was BEYOND rude! I was asking questions, and his response was short, curt and rude. He made me feel like my questions was annoying him. Additional, the van had illegal drugs on the dash board ( marijuana) and the paper too wrap marijuana.Andrinique D.

There was cigarette ashes in the cup holders and the truck smelled like cigarettes. I requested 20 furniture blankets which I requested two weeks prior and I got to the uhaul there weren't any in the store. The charge was removed for them but then I was left to scramble to get furniture pads on an already busy day. A heads up would've been great. For some reason, there was one left in the back of the truck as well as a bunch of cardboard boxes that I was told I'd be charged for if I didn't throw them away even though I noted that there was trash in the back in my notes. The people at the store were nice but overall I'm very disappointed in the product uhaul delivered to me which is unfortunate because I've had great experiences in the past.THOMAS A.

Personnel did not wear masks. I had to ask them to put them on â€”NO ONE wore a mask When I opened up back of truck, there was a HUGE hole in the left corner of uHaul that was not disclosed prior. Uhaul's dependency on smart phone web based technology is cumbersome, buggy, and a time waster which shifts labor to the customer at checkin and checkout. In addition, Uhaul's web site to note the condition of the rental truck before departure was "down for maintenance" on Saturday, 5/1/2021 at 9:30am - a peak rental time. My rental unit was damaged so I couldn't document the damage online and resorted to taking pictures of the truck's roof damage - a difficult task to accomplish in bright sunlight against a bright sky with a smart phone camera. Another example of Uhaul shifting the burden to customers to perform tasks that should be performed by staff. Every visit to my local Uhaul is punctuated by customers in front of me grappling with their smartphone to accomplish checking in. As an ex-IBMer, this is the perfect example of technology damaging the customer's experience to achieve the false promise of cost savings to the company. The rental unit should have been taken out of service - the roof damage would have made a real mess of the truck's contents if it had rained.Robert N.

I booked a 15' truck with an appliance dolly and 1/2 moving pads. The day before pick-up i was called and told the location i booked did not have the equipment (why let me book it to begin with).. At time of pick up at the new location. I was informed there were no dollies or moving pads available for rent, but then asked if i need to buy one.. Thanks for the help...Josh B.
The van was cleaned but displayed messages saying RR tire needed air and the van needed an oil change. I don't feel that you should rent out a van that is displaying messages of possible equipment issues. That should be resolved before you rent it out. Also when placing the reservation online, it keep automatically adding extra stuff like moving pads and a dolly. I took it off my initial order and when I went to pick up the van, it someone was added back into my reservation. It would not, at that point, allow me to delete it off and it was after hours so I couldn't talk to anyone in the office so I had to let it go. When I went to check the van in, I specified that the bill was incorrect and I should not be charged for moving pads and a dolly that I didn't receive nor ask for. They still charged me and submitted a promissory note. I guess I have to wait forever to get it taking off my credit card. It not good when you try to nickel and dime your customer by adding extra stuff they don't need to their bill!NANCY H.

Everytime, I go to this location which is 3 miles away from my home, they double and triple charge me!! When I go to Northeast express way Uhaul, they are more appreciative! Should not book people for 3 hours. Not possible to move that quick unless it was a small move. Spoke to a friend who owned a Uhaul business and he said that he's never heard of a 3 hour rental. Caused a lot of stress to during an already stressful thing to do.JULIE D.
I was over charged unfairly. I brought the truck back with more gas than was in it and retuned it on the time promised. Yet I was charged for gas and late fee. Not fair.Domenico P.
Be very careful do not rent from this location They inflated the initial estimate when I checked out then magically fixed it when I checked in but added in fuel charges and other fees that did not apply I returned it with exactly the amount of gas that they had senate out with I did not ask for insurance and he recognised that but yet I was charged for all these things and magically the number ended up the same eze when I initially checked outD SCOTT M.

The lady who helped me was extremely friendly and efficient. I have rented at this location once a month for 20 years and she stands out as a true asset to this U-Haul location! When I made the reservation with the manager, we talked about how long I would need the truck and I said I would return the truck after they closed on Sunday. He told me that this location no longer offers after hours check in so he said he would show that the truck would be returned in the morning. When I picked the truck up, he showed the truck being rented for 3 hours?!? I told him I would pick it up at 1:00 and return it the following morning since this location no longer allows after hours check in.Eric P.
