The worst experience.will never use uhaul again

It snowed the day before and they did not brush the snow off the trucks windshield, or in the bed of the truck. I wasted 30 minutes of my time scraping ice off the wind shield and 5 inches of snow out of the bed of the truck in the freezing cold. Three employees in that location sat inside and did not help, even when I asked them to. They did not even offer a scraper. Not only did I lose 30 minutes of my time but I will absolutely never recommend this location to anyone. When I was about to leave and got done getting all the snow and ice out the person in charge informed me there is only 15 minute parking and that I would have to move my car to a random parking lot not owned by them. Absolutely, hands down the WORST U-Haul experience of my life. There should be some sort of refund for having this poor of a customer experience.

Jesse took care of me even though I cane in a few Minutes after 8 PM closing time on Friday night. He took the auto transport off and parked it and gave me back the truck. He was awesome and the location was very convenient.

This is the second time this location has taken out more than they’re supposed to. The first time my wife called corporate three times to get reimbursed, which they acknowledged they messed up, but she was never reimbursed. This time I spoke to someone in store about it and they said the same thing, the reimbursed my account, but a day later took the reimbursement amount out again. I spoke with another friend and asked if they ever had trouble with this location charging more than what was stated and they informed me they have had the same problem. I’ll never use them again and I’ll be speaking to corporate and a friend who works for a news casting station in hopes this never happens to anyone else.

Returned the trailer the same day Nov 11th. Trailer was not Check in until the 13th and was charged another day. Called to resolve charge, instead of being credited was charged another day rental. Still waiting for it to show on my bank account. Should be credited $32. Waiting.

I was overcharged for mileage. The employee took a picture of the mileage AFTER I returned the truck but there was no before picture and I’m 100% sure that I was overcharged. I’ve used uhaul many times and this has never happened I’m really upset.

Trailer without lights are first, had to change out. Forgot the dolly/overcharge for the dolly. Still haven't got my money back. Took 2 hours to just get a trailer. Then charged three days for trailer when I only had it for two days. I still don't have my money back. Also advised to buy an adaptor that I did not need. U-haul needs to inspect their products better when returned. All around terrible experience.... and still haven't gotten my money back..

THE WORST UHaul experience ....and I've used them 12+times. Nick (employee "on duty" did nothing to assist me when I desperately needed assistance. Spent 1 hour 15 minutes "checking in" my pre-reserved rental. I lost my hired help and $150 and as a result, and spent extra time, energy, and money trying to move. "Customer service" phone rep (1st one) less than helpful. I will find any ALTERNATIVE POSSIBLE to U Haul for my next move. By far the WORST experience I've had.

First off the staff did a fine job. I'll be back. Main note from this visit: Make sure equipment is in great condition before renting it to a customer. The trailer I towed ( a 5x8 ) had a bad turn signal light in the rear and it was unable to be repaired due to riveting. Since state law in Georgia allows a motorist to pull a trailer without lights in the day, I pulled the trailer anyway. While troubleshooting I noticed that the trailer wiring had been severed once on the tongue. I don't think that had anything to do with the bulb, but does help explain the following: When we were hooking it up it was very difficult to make sure that the trailer was tightened to the hitch, and while I towed it, I found that it was still a bit loose even though the square nut was cranked down as hard as I could crank it. Anyway it appears this trailer was in some kind of incident / accident in the past that may have damaged the hookup. It has been repaired but still runs a little loose. Although it drove fine and never came off the hitch, I worried about it a little more than previous rentals.

Please make sure your trucks are in working order, especially the air conditioning and ventilation for engine. My feet were roasted by the heat released into the cabin's floorboard space while driving, and the assistant manager basically shrugged his shoulders when I complained. My feet are still in pain from that horrible experience last Friday!
