Ensure your online check in program actually works! I spent almost an hour with that worthless program. It merely throws you back into the dashboard when you finish reading the ridiculous procedures for towing a trailer. Very unhappy with your software!!

I wanted to rent a truck closer to Roseville. I was promised an extra day free because I given a smaller truck and had to drive all the way to Auburn to pick it up a day earlier than I need it and had scheduled it. I was still charged for an extra day. The truck was great, but I was overcharged for what I was promised on the phone.

My pickup location was my third location 40 miles from my house. My first location was 6 miles from my house. Also this was my second date that I chose. When talking to the customer service representative in Sacramento I had to do all the problem solving to figure out a solution in order to even get a trailer. My location was changed twice within 48 Hours of pick up while movers were at my house taking all my stuff away. This was a military move my dates are not flexible and it was very very stressful. Also the customer service representative tried explain to me why they didn't have trailers. I thought this was highly unprofessional and I let her know so. She was explaining it to me as if it were my problem. And when I confronted her on it she asked me not to be rude. I find it very rude that but Uhaul took my money within seconds. And then couldn't even deliver close to a product I ask for. The pickup location person MO was awesome. The drop off location was great. It was just a customer service representatives and the coordinating of getting me a trailer that absolutely was terrible. Penske for me now on

I was given a pickup location that was an hour and a half away from my house. After 5 phone calls the day before pickup asking for a closer location and was told there was none, I called the morning of pickup and lo and behold they had a closer location with multiple trailers like the one I reserved. How did this happen? Why was I not offered one of these 4 trailers in the size I reserved that were sitting on this lot in Auburn the day before. VERY FRUSTRATING. The Auburn location was very helpful, but I would not recommend U Haul overall for the customer service offered at the corporate level.

Doing the online check out I was tripped up by the point at which I needed to select payment or pay later. I choose to pay later thinking I would pay on the return of the truck. Doing this I had to start over to check out. At this point I chose to check out through the Uhaul rep. Can there an explanation at the point of payment if you choose to pay later you will have to start over. Does there have to be a choice? Other then that my experience was good. Thank You
