Though this location was great, my overall U-Haul experience was beyond awful. I ordered a U-Haul, and picked my locations specifically because they offered the size of vehicle I needed. When I ordered it, I was told via text that I needed to call to talk about my order. The lady on the call stated that the vehicle I ordered was not available at that location and did not offer any solutions for me. I was frustrated, because I would not have picked that location if the vehicle was not available. I asked her to list other areas by me that may be able to accommodate. She did not ask once where I was located and offered minimal support. I kept repeating that I needed something within the M-59 freeway by Auburn Hills or Pontiac and she kept listing areas not near me. We settled on one that was fairly far away. She asked if I would like to be set up with that mobile check-out so I didn't have to wait at the store and could just walk in and get my vehicle. I said yes. She said that was taken care of and we hung up. When I arrived at the location that morning, my phone did not let me do mobile check-out (or whatever it may be called). I called the support/customer service and waited on hold for 20 minutes before being greeted. The woman (Dedra) said I was not set up for online pick-up, even though the woman I originally spoke to said I was. Dedra said she was unable to assist me and that I could call other locations to see ifa U-Haul is available for me. She did not offer help in locating locations, she just kept repeating that I was not set up for mobile and she couldn't help in any way. I waited in the parking lot until the store opened. I noticed within this store that if your experience was not satisfactory, you may be eligible for a payment reimbursement and I would like to be contacted about that.

Had a couple issues here: The keys in my lockbox were not the keys for the piece of equipment that the website said i was getting. They were for a different piece that was the same size as the piece I thought I was getting. Second: the door the the piece of equipment that I ended up getting the keys for was left wide open and there was snow inside the cab.

The truck used had a bald front tire. Not safe. The truck was dirty. I signed a contract online for 6 hours of use. The store had my contract at 4 hours. Thus charging me for another day of use. I used the truck 5 hours. Eric, the employee, told the person helping me to exit the store as he was the only person in the store and had to do a check out. It was 12:30 pm on a Saturday. What if the lobby had been full of customers. Would be all be asked to leave? I was charged an additional day of use , but I couldn't keep the truck for that additional day. ??? This experience is one to forget. Eric couldn't even supply me with a receipt for the extra charges. I hope this is not how all uhauls conduct business

Horrible coustomer service! The owner wasn't there at my reservation time. Building was locked. I sat on hold with customer service for 30 minutes while they tried locating the owner. They told me I had to reschedule my pick up time until 3pm. I did that. Once I areived home I got a call from the owner asking me to come back he would be there in 15 minutes. I arrived back and waited an additional 25 minutes. I eventually got the trailer hooked up. The owner told me the lights were not working properly on the trailer. He assured me the issue was with my vehicle. (Uhaul installed a hitch and trailer lights 3 months prior, everything is under warranty) pushed me out tge door knowing I was traveling 2000 miles away with 3 young children. I had to stay at my grandparents house that night and call road side assistance. The man cam out to fix the lights. The issue was with the TRAILER and not my vehicle. He was there until 2am fixing the lights. This put my trip off another day. The lights were then supposed to be fixed. I was stopped by a truck driver who informed me the lights still were not working properly 2 days into my trip. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! I rent from uhaul for all of my moving needs. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience.

Not over charge me. I was told to have the vehicle back before 4:pm and gassed up just above the quarter tank. We gassed up and had the truck back at 3:50. The attendant was not in the Just in Time store so we left the keys in the drop box and was charged $90 for a $29 rental that I was told would receive the $14 insurance cost back. I an highly dissatisfied.

Self checkout was horrible because the vehicle was no where to be found. It was parked in a parking lot that is across a highway and not in the pickup location. Took 30 minutes to find the vehicle. No utility dolly was in the vehicle even after several reminders. And of course now they didn't forget to charge for the dolly.
