They did not state all the fees, the employees are rude, and they even managed to lose their after hours key to get into the box to retrieve my key and paperwork! Then two whole days later u haul calls me and asks me when I was going to return the truck I had dropped off two hours after renting. Definitely NOT recommending this service to anyone and will be using a different company next time.

The individuals were all nice nice, but it was not the expected U Haul professional experience. It is a gas station that rents U Hauls on the side. The people that were behind the desk did not know how to check me in, they kept asking for details I provided beforehand in the pre-check-in questionnaire. There was also a bit of a language barrier. After 30 minutes when the manager arrived, things moved along faster. The trailer was sitting in mud and I had to drive over a curb to get to it, it was not an issue for my SUV, but a smaller car may have struggled. I was suppose to have blankets, but they did not appear to have any moving supplies. This place should not be a UHaul dealer. Thankfully a company-owned store (on Havana) was located nearby to provide blankets and switch out the trailer as the left blinker was broken (surprised UHaul rivets the lights as it requires a specialist to change a bulb - crazy!).

Hi, my truck was dirty inside and out when I picked it up. The windshield was filthy. I had to sweep out the back before I used it. I also had difficulty getting the right mirror to stay in place so I could see the blind spot. Finally, the lady at the desk did not speak English well so communicating the issues was a problem. get better personal / help that knows what there doing not take someone eels client and rent units with low tires / knows how to hook one up and not let someone off the street try to do it for them I will never rent from a place like that again never

The customer service lady was rude. She didn’t greet us or even talk to us about the Uhual rental or in general. She just went and did her thing. I ordered 12 furniture pads and I never received them. Overall, awful experience would never go back.

My wife and I could barely understand a word the lady was saying. Very poor ENGLISH. When I called to make sure our rental was going to be there I could barely understand the guy on the other end. Same thing very poor ENGLISH. I did video the rental truck inside and out before I left just in case anyone said I spilt or was smoking in it. Because there was obvious signs the renter before us spilt something and signs of smoking. Will never rent from that location again for the simple reason that we could not understand the broken ENGLISH. Should have realized that when I called the place

We had forgot 6 of the 12 furniture pads we had rented at the original location, so called the original rental location to see if we could return them there. They said "yes, just tell the Aurora drop off store I have noted it in your account". When we got to the Aurora store, they would not honor that agreement and charged me for the full 12 pads and then also 6 pads (although we returned 6 at that time). The wait was over 40 minutes and the clerk kept assisting other people before she had finished with us. We went and got the pads and tried to take them back to the original location as they were the ones who said this would be okay, and to see if they could communicate better with the Aurora location. After another 40 minutes, they said there was nothing they could do because the order had been closed. This caused a huge waste of our time and a great inconvenience. Had the original store said it was not possible and we would be required to have everything, we would have adjusted our plan accordingly. Instead, they caused a lot of extra back and forth on an already exhausting day. The lack of professionalism at the Aurora store and the sheer defensiveness of the manager there was shocking. On top of that, I am not confident that any of my charges will be accurate on my credit card, and so now I will have to spend additional time taking care of that. It was a HORRIBLE experience.

I specifically requested the facility on Colfax and I225. I called that location specifically to make my request. The person told me because I had called them My truck would be there on the 7th. When I arrived the girl first said I was late in picking it up then said the truck was to be picked up someplace else. It took her a long time to find where I was to go. She didn't tell me how to get there and left me hanging while she continued to work on the computer when I asked it that was all she said yah. She was unpleasant and unhelpful. I had difficulty finding the pickup place because it was in a convenience store with tiny sign for U-Haul. I drove past it once and only found it because I saw a u-haul truck there. the clerk was unfriendly and uninterested in being helpful. He didn't go around the truck with me for a inspection, just gave me the key and the paper work. I knew where the U-Haul office formally was in Mancos and went there to return the truck they said they no longer were with U-Haul but they though a guy on the other side of the highway had the franchise. There is no u-haul in Mancos any longer but your paper work said return it to Mancos. I had to drive to Cortez (17miles) to find a U-Haul franchise. They were closed so had to trust they would get the truck taken care of. Turns out that franchise is your franchise in Mancos. I was disappointed in the move because I felt mislead and treated poorly.

I thought I had made reservations with a different location that was more convenient and easy to find, but it turned out the Peoria Street location had the truck. The truck ready & in great condition, and the manager took care of us right away. The facility is awkward to find really needs to be much cleaner; there were candies at the counter that were old and dirty (should have been thrown out), and the restroom wasn't very clean and lacked paper towels. Fortunately the manager gave me toilet paper before I entered.

The parking lot was small and filled with mud but they did have better customer service. Since it is a gas station, I would have appreciated them giving me the option to pay $5 more in gas for the little bit they said I was under (which I was in fact over) instead of just charging me almost $40 without saying anything.
