The customer service at the location was great. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this location to a friend is the area was not the best neighborhood. Additionally I was not allowed to park my car in the U-Haul parking lot, which was inconvenient since the neighborhood didn't seem safe.

Customer number 32424565The management at this location was unresponsive to my complaint about the vehicle that was rented being in poor condition. The battery died and that prevented the truck from being driven through the gates before 9:00 pm. In fact, It was reported by me to roadside assistance that the 17 ft truck had failed to start prior to the E Z storage customer access hours expired on Monday January 18, 2016 at 8:35 pm. I initially even called my AAA roadside to expedite matters but was told that AAA didn't services trucks that have 4 or more rear tires.Due to the bitter cold that night my church member and I attempted numerous times to start this truck.Following our attempts, I called 911 and Baltimore County police officer arrived. The officer attempted to open the gate with my code but as I knew, nothing after the 9:00 PM hour would open these gates.Following that,I asked the officer "since the fire station was next door;could they rescue us since it was so brutally cold." The temperature that night was below 12 degrees and the windchill felt like -15 degrees.I called 911 since a moving vehicle before 9:00 pm was the only way to that the gates would open to exit the storage gates. I spoke to roadside assistance again on Tuesday January 19, 2016. I was told that I needed to update my billing information before they could send someone out.I did not understand that statement since I had spoken to the manager A.S and I explained to him that I would deposit money into the account to cover my additional use. A. S. said,"Ok". This conversation took place after I called to request additional days on Friday January 15 and Saturday January 16, 2016. The night of the truck breakdown ended by the Windsor Mill Fire Company coming over with a ladder. My church member who at this time was feeling pretty ill and myself climbed atop a fixed box to attempt exiting over the fence. Just when we were to climb onto the ladder, the storage manager came and open the gate.I explained to the site mgr about the truck breaking down and stated I would be back the next day Tuesday January 19. On Tuesday January 19th, I called U Haul roadside assistance and was told as previously mention that my billing information was not updated. I called to speak to the Northern Parkway at Reisterstown Road Mgr. A. S. Mr. S. stated ,after I explained our dilemma, that all I needed to do was have the EZ storage manager confirm what happened and he would adjust my bill.I had gotten the truck started with help from my brother who jump started the U Haul truck on Wednesday evening after 5:00 pm January 20, 2016. I had spoken to Mgr. of EZ storage Windsor Mill on Tuesday to state that the truck was still on the property. I stated that I should have the truck moved by tomorrow Wednesday January 20th. All along I was dissatisfied by what had occurred but I had hoped that the Mgr. Alan Steuber would adjust my bill for the inconvenious of my renting a truck that had obvious lack of p

They do not write the correct miles down.so when u rent a truck, make sure the miles in the truck match the ones on the paper before u leave their lot. Also when u call they say it's $1.00 for every mile but when u go into the store they say it's $1.29. Now is that false advertisement or what?

The truck I rented stalled out. I was instructed to go online to get roadside assistance, but there was no direct link to roadside assistance once I went online. There should be a direct phone number because not everyone has a smart phone. I did and still I didn't reach them. Fortunately, we got the truck started, but when I returned it, I was told that the stalling had occurred before. The truck should not have been rented without fixing that problem! I was not given any reduced rate or refund for a known problem with the truck. Not good customer service!

Staff should be more welcoming and appreciative of my business. One was apathetic, and the other one was watching movies on his smartphone. I only want to be addressed politely and respected as a customer for those 5 minutes I am in their store.

Staff were fairly abrasive. I asked why u-haul required 2 phone numbers (when most people these days only have 1 - a cellphone) and was told "those are the rules". After pushing they eventually told me it was in case I stole the truck... They then sent me outside to find the truck myself. Despite no other customers it seemed that dealing with me was a big inconvenience to them.

the truck's batter was being charged with arrived. I reached my destination and after loading the truck would not start again. Called roadside assistance. Had to pay men an additional hour while waiting and had to leave truck running for the rest of the day during unloading.

Great location and staff but last rental broke down three times and this was a major inconvenience and posed a big problem since I was on a time deadline. Since I rent often from this location and is considered a valuable customer I feel my total cost should have been waived and I should have been issued a credit for a future rental.
