There was only 1 person helping customers pick up their vehicles The wait was approximately 20 minutes even though I had already checked in earlier. More customer service reps need to be on hand at the beginning of the month. Ernest was very pleasant and efficient.

First of all I requested a rental dolly when I made my reservation and one wasnt provided when I picked up the truck. Then when I recieved my reciept via email it showed I was being charged for the dolly I didnt get. Also the engine light was on when I picked up the truck and stayed on the entire time I had it.

online said there was a van. there was no van. used a 10' truck - no instruction manuals, no glove compartment. if i had known i had to get this type of vehicle i would have gone to a closer u-haul and saved $$ on milage.

the gentleman who started my reservation had a lot of problems with the computer but was very friendly. The guy who helped check my rental out outside was smoking had his car parked in the van lanes blocking them and then got into my rental with the cigarette to check the gas now the woman who completed my reservation when I returned was very unprofessional. She was on the phone on speaker. loud and she would barely open her mouth to communicate and when she did it was sounds and not words. She had an attitude because I was paying in cash gave me the wrong change and couldn't print my reciept

Training for different employees was going on but the staff showed them how to treat the customer and showed them the proper way to address the business aspect as well. Over all great experience!!! This was the worst location ever no customer service at all they the customer for there job the woman is horrible with the worst attitude ever they send me out on a truck with the miles less then the paperwork and they tell it’s my fault because I should’ve check behind there job they are the worst location ever then the manager calls me and he act just as bad as the rest of them no professionalism in the whole building they need to retrain the whole staff

Getting there from the North side of the street (going west) is very difficult. Prepare your gas stop beforehand- the carrol next door is not as convenient as you may think.

The female manager was the worst employee of a business I ever encountered in my life. First, when I picked up a van she was assisting the employee working on my contract that I completed online. He seemed new. I had a VIP certificate to apply and she said it wouldn’t be a problem and that it would be handled when I paid. Second, when I saw my receipt said return the van in 6 hours, she instructed me to call the 1-800gouhaul number which was inaccurate because I was dispatched to the manager Erniso who helped me. Third, when I returned the van, I was charged for the entire amount on my card which I was clear I didn’t want to do. I was intending to pay cash for the difference after the vip credit was applied. None of that occurred. I inquired about it and she had a complete attitude. She then states I needed the vip card to which I replied “had you said that this morning I would have fucking done things differently this morning”. She then instructed me to leave and that I was a threat to her. I asked her name and she refuse to give it. I refused to leave as I wanted my issue resolved and I never threatened her or posed a threat to her. She was totally insane and called for Erniso who addressed the situation. She then screams I posed a threat to her and that she pushed the button (implying the police) was called. We couldn’t talk in front of her because she kept interrupting and yelling. Erniso and I stepped outside and I explained the issue and showed him my paperwork. She said I was a threat because I am Black and And 250 pounds. The police arrived without incident or arrest and left within seconds. I am an attorney and was appalled by her antics. Her supervisor Erniso was awesome. He clearly knows how to handle a company and deal with customers. She should not be permitted to work in a community she clearly has an issue with. If she is threatened by Black people she should not be employed in a location that serves more than 60 percent Blacks.

Customer service was very poor,didn't know they close at five we got there five after and the lady was rude and keep pointing to the flyer for after hour service, we keep trying end up calling the toll free number.

I originally had a reservation at BP Slade and the person at counter said the UHaul person left and I should go online, he could not help me. I did and it said the reservation I had was cancelled. I had two movers with me and wasted over an hour, I called the 800 number and they transferred the order to Northern Parkway UHaul and we were processed within 10 minutes and on our way. The conduct of the people at Slade BP was deplorable and does not live up to U Haul standards.

I ordered a pulley for $7 and it wasn’t even in the truck. I also reserved a 19.99 truck and had to pay for a 29.99 because it wasn’t available

French fries on floor board, non-working 12v power supply, and they initially told me the gas was at a 1/2 tank. Had to go back in to get them to adjust it to the real amount of 1/4 of a tank. Would not have used uhaul if I wasn't in a time crunch. I had to move equipment for my business and this was the closest location to pick up. As a business owner, I rent alot of trucks and vans. I can honestly say I will not be using U-haul again. Very unhelpful customer service from corporate. Do yourself a favor, get better rates and customer service from any Penske Truck Rental, or get a cargo van from enterprise. Either one would be a better alternative.
