When returned, I learned that the trailer was not installed correctly by the location attendant. The person at the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Route 16 Medford / Somerville said "It could have killed someone". The attendant at the return location was appalled and directed me to report this event. I drove nearly 800 miles with a trailer that was not safe. Highly concerned and would like a response if possible. Thank you.
Truck's cargo area was not swept out prior to my picking it up. Driver's area of truck had odd odor and had cardboard stuffed behind seats. Ordered 6 furniture pads, but they only had one in stock. People at rental location were pleasant, though.
This location is a third party seller. The outside is a gas station , Once inside it's a convenient store, pizza restaurant, and uhaul pick up. This location is unprofessional and horrible customer service. Lastly I had to return the vehicle back to the same location (that was a given due to it being a 3rd party ) when I returned the vehicle the employer didn't check the vehicle nor walk around because he had a long line behind me which caused him to key in the vehicle information the next morning and he typed in the wrong mileage. Never had a problem with Uhaul before but I will NEVER!!!!! use a 3rd party seller again.
The attendant was late. He did not arrive until 30 minutes past my rental time. This also occurred with the same attendant on a different day that I rented from this location. I will not rent from this location in the future.
They did not give any for the. If a police had stop I would had thing to show them. I though the paper was in the glove department but it was not.
Truck was filthy trash in trailer and up front. Had problems with mobile sign in. Mobile app wouldn't approve me called uhaul was on hold for 20 min. When i do get someone they can't help so i get transfered again was on hold for another 20 to 30 min. Just a horrible pick up experience. Also the truck was literally on E.
This location needs new management ASAP...Very unprofessional
Fix the truck that needs maintenance if damage or not running well it shouldn't be rented...
I was over charged for the rental by this company. What should I do
I had to be at pick up location at 8:30am. I had my rental in for 8am. The clerk was late. Didn't show until 8:15, with his Dunkin' Donuts as he sat in his car for 2 mins before coming in. Very dissapointed because getting to pick up location someone had already picked up the couch I wanted, so I rented the truck for nothing. And trying to get customer service on the phone is a nightmare. Never again.
The original uhaul I rented had a slashed tire and didn't work. I ended up getting charged twice, i think for both the unusable truck and the one I actually used.
I feel like I was overcharged
The location charged me for fuel when I filled the tank with more than it started out with. Showed the location the video and still refused to refund the fuel charge. Customers service took excellent care of me. I sent the video of the beginning and ending fuel. Mrs. Ruth apologized and processed the refund.
Mobile experience is garbage, it's way more convenient to just go in the store.
Give me my money back on the gas the tank was only 1/2 full when I first picked up the truck I returned the truck 3/4 tank filled I want my money back
The store an area around was very dirty n nasty. The store inside for drop off was not clean. The representative went on lunch when I needed assistance. The representative helped me at first an then decided to take a lunch per the other store clerk. After I had just drove over 8 hrs.
The staff was unprofessional
Have the truck available for the person who reserved it. My rental was given to someone else. I had to rent the biggest truck available and it was a inconvience to me.Than i was told that i didnt have a reservation that was incorrect also. Nothing was taken off my bill for the inconvience.
Service is poor. My second time going there. My daughter had a bad experience there. You can't get int the vans by moble always a problem and there is no one to service you during business hours.
in addition to the cargo van we had reserved a furniture dolly, hand cart and furniture blankets. When we got back to the apartment, 15 minutes away, we discovered that none of those items were in the van. I tried to call the location, but no one answered (after letting it ring for 90 seconds). I called UHaul's 800 number, and after being routed a few times i was disconnected. I went to U Haul's website and sent an email concerning the missing items, and received no response. I ended up having to go to Home Depot and buying a furniture dolly (they had no hand trucks). Between all of those delays, and having to hand carry nearly everything the move took us five hours longer than we had initially rented the van for. The next day we were notified that we were being charged for the "missing" furniture dolly, hand cart and blankets. Not cool. And incidentally, we accidentally left our newly purchased furniture dolly in the van, so you all came out ahead on the equipment. A very, very frustrating experience.
please disinfect the vehicles before rerenting them.
The app functioned poorly and the response from a live agent was slow. It took me far more time to pick up the vehicle than it would have with a live agent.
