I was disappointed when I arrived. The van I had reserved had an empty tank, a day-old parking ticket, and dashboard lights indicating the need for an oil change. Basically, I wasn't sure it was drivable it had been checked. I reported these issues to the gas station attendant and he seemed to shrug them off.

When I arrived to pick up the truck the staff had a lock on the back that he made me go remove as it was theirs. When I went to the back of the vehicle, a homeless person was sitting on the back defecating and it left “skid marks” on the back. Truly repulsive but I had no other option but to use the truck. I brought it up to the staff but it seems the homeless frequent the area. It smelled throughout the day and was a very unpleasant experience. Not the staffs fault, but very gross.
Tyler LI'd to pay $10 cash for parking. When I returned the truck I asked the clerk if he can come out and check the truck and he told me " we're only here to give and take keys, we don't check the truck". Then I pumped gas and checked the parking, and parking was full. Then I took picture of the odometer locked the truck, gave him the key and left to my car. While in my car the clerk rushed after me, ans I had no brain to leave the U-Haul truck by the pump, that I have to move it and went inside the store. I went back to the store and told him the parking is full, asked him to give the key and tell me where to park the truck. He said "no, I"m not giving you the key back, you don't have a brain and I'll charge your credit card extra two fifty for leaving the truck there " in front of other customers. I didn't want the insult to continue, left the store and called U-Haul to complain.I saw the clerk treat bad a man and a woman U=Haul customers.I think he doesn't like colored people, even though he himself is not of European descent. No respect to people, unfriendly, unprofessional. U-Haul need another business in that location the will handle your business better.

CARLTON GThis was and is still a very unpleasant unprofessional process. From initially almost being refused services after making an online reservation to being billed $388 plus for following the instructions of the attendant that issued me the keys. I’m very disappointed with how this was haphazardly handled and not one representative called to verify or saw the suspicious activity and lacked wherewithal to resolve this matter with diligence. I’ll be awaiting a call tomorrow morning and pray that it has a better outcome than today’s.
