First of all when I got my reservation, it said that the truck was scheduled for glen Burnie, md pick up at 8:00 am, and then I re checked the reservation and it got moved to a location outside of Baltimore, md at 12:00, there was no email text to me that the location got changed, also, we where not satisfied with the truck, because as I was driving it, it had a mechanical break down which put us behind schedule

The only negative is that the previous user had smoked in the vehicle. Staff was friendly and informative. We would recommend that everyone double check the mileage and fuel on their vehicle, as our was incorrect. We were not aware of this location, but will definitely recommend it. Staff was patient and efficient. :)

I wish the Mirrors were not so difficult to adjust. I had a very hard time with it. I had to stop several times and ask strangers to help me out. Other than that, everything else was fine.

On Wed 8/3 I found out that the original hitch I had purchased for my car was the wrong one. So I started calling uhaul on Belair Rd around 2pm, and I was told by Shirly Snowden that they had an appointment for Thurs 8/4 and I was going to leave my car overnight and have pick it up Thursday after work or have someone else pick it up. Around 2:30pm I got a call from Sierra at the Belair Rd store saying that the reservation I had was not valid because it was a blocked out day since there was no one to install the hitch. I was at work and didn't receive this message until 3:30pm at which time I started calling uhaul at Belair Rd and was transferred all around until about 4:30pm when I finally got someone who happened to be in the corporate office and i explained everything so she said to give her 10-15min and she'd give me a call back with a solution so I waited until 5:30pm then tried Belair Rd again and got no answer so I started calling other uhauls and at 6:45pm found out that no uhaul near me had the hitch for my car nor could they install it. My fiancé called the service center and she told us to call in the morning. I was working all morning Thursday so my fiancé called the service center and first they wouldn't talk to him because it was under my name. So he called again and they finally talked to him he was transfer to Mike the president of the Baltimore area uhauls. He was able to get us an appointment at 4pm and located a high heat for my car. The location he found was about 30-40 min away from the house so I luckily got out of work by 330 to take the car and then found out it was going to be at least 3hrs so we went home and they said they'd call me when it was done. I got a call at 6:45pm saying the car was ready abd I told them I'd be there in 30-40 min atehucgloint I was told they close at 7pm and I would have to do all paymdbts over the phone. So we did all that thinking everything was good to go. When we got to the uhaul on Washington Blvd we looked around the car and noticed the muffler was hanging very low, trusting the mechanic did everything correctly. When we looked in the morning we found out that the lights weren't working and that the muffler was never put back on the hanging bracket, so my fiancé had to crawl under the car to fix it. We contacted Mike and told him everything and he had us drive to the Golden Ring uhaul abd they toll about 4 hours to figure out the original location (Washington Blvd) installed the wrong power pack for my car and fixed it. This caused to be 4-5hrs late starting our trip to South Carolina, which we were supposed to arrive by 3pm/4pm, but didn't until 2am. I'm irritated with everything and I am recieving a full refund form Mike for everything because of all the issues. I'm irritated because I lost an entire day of vacation and made both of our parents sit in a lobby waiting for us to get there to check in because it was under my name. Hello Uhaul! Let me start by saying that this is not a complaint against Uhaul, even with all that went wrong with my reservation I received great customer service from the Uhaul Staff at 2929 Washington Blvd. I was frustrated and so were they! They could not understand why the truck wasnt there despite having reserved it the previous day.... On 7/30/2016 I made a reservation for a 26 ft truck and I received an email confirming the reservation. When I went to pick up the truck on 7/31/2016 at 9 am they told me that there was no truck. I had already hired 3 men to help me move and my lease was expiring that same day because it was the end of the month. At after waiting for 2 hours the Uhaul staff were able to find a 17 ft truck and I accepted to take it because I had no choice and they had no 26 ft truck that I had reserved. In addition the longer I waited, the more my labor costs went up because I had already hired 3 men for my move. When I got into the 17 ft truck I noticed that the amount of fuel on my receipt was not matching the amount of fuel in the truck, I immediately went back to the store and notified one of the staff members who walked back to the truck with me, he changed my paperwork to the correct amount of fuel with a pen outside the truck but forgot to change it i the computer. Before I returned the truck I fueled the truck to the right amount of fuel but came to realize later that I had been charged for the original erroneous amount fuel because the staff member never changed to the right amount in the computer. When I made my reservation I received this guarantee...... $50 reservation guarantee, When you make a reservation, we guarantee to provide you with the equipment size, location, and pick up time as agreed. Before I made my reservation there was this promise Should you not receive the equipment size, location, and pick up time you agreed to, U-Haul will compensate you $50. I am asking to be compensated the $ 50, to be refunded the fuel money that was charged by mistake and also to adjust the mileage cost because I drove 50 miles extra because I had a small truck! I had an extremely bad rental experience at 2929 Washington Blvd Baltimore, MD 21230 on Wednesday Aug 10th, 2016 around 5:00pm eastern time. A man call Dough Riley was extremely rude and unprofessional. He asked me to bring my citizenship and passport if I would like to pay with cash or he will not allow me to pick up my truck. Since I have driver license and work ID so I asked for the reason, he said that is Uhal's company policy and he also told me I should to go somewhere else to rent a truck if I cannot bring both of my citizenship an passport. I never know Uhal was a racist company with such ridiculous policy until Mr. Dough Riley showed me today. I was really disappointed.

When I got to that location, I was extremely pissed off. Originally, I was supposed to pick up a 17 footer in Essex, MD. My reservation was screwed up and I ended up going to the Washington Boulevard location. Joseph Homa was terrific!!!! He did save the day. I left very happy and satisfied. He is definitely a keeper. You should have more people like him.

I would first like to start off by saying throughout the last 26 years since I've rented my first Uhaul I've never had the kind of ridiculous issues that I just encountered last weekend with my move. To start off when I got to my original pick up this past Sunday morning for my reserved truck until dolly that you are agent was not there at the scheduled time. The original location was on Harford Road at the Shell gas station. When the agent arrived 15 minutes late past my 9 AM pick up, he then told me that they did not have my tow dolly and there was nothing he could do about it I've been spent 45 minutes on the phone being transferred back-and-forth With Uhaul without any resolution and more or less being told there was no tow dolly and they didn't know what they could do. Finally after having a breakdown from having paid labor waiting around my house and me having no clue how I was supposed to continue with my move to Richmond from Baltimore I was told that my reservation has been changed to the Washington Boulevard location. Now the only problem was I couldn't pick it up until at least noon. Now what about the people standing around my house? Was their time not important? How about my wasted money? After I finally arrived a couple minutes before noon at the Washington Boulevard location, the line took more than 50 minutes for me to get to the counter to pick up my truck and tow dolly. When I asked about my $50 guarantee reservation and equipment that I should've received from my equipment not being at the original reserved place I was told that I had to do the survey so that the manager is reading it could refund the $50. After pulling out of the U-Haul location with my tow dolly, I started to head back through the tunnel that I had to go out of my way to use for my second reserved pick up since my first reservation was across the street from my previous home The four dollars I had to pay just to get to the second pick up was four dollars in my car and then a whopping $12 to get back to my home to the people that I was paying to wait for me now for hours later. I noticed on the gauge that I had three quarters of a tank but I had signed off for a full tank on my paperwork just a couple miles back. I then noticed that the check engine light was on as well. I video taped and took pictures and then realized that the truck I was driving had more than 90000 miles yet the paperwork said 45000. I didn't look at my key and the tag says a different truck number than my contract says. I'm now thinking could anything else go wrong? You bet. Yes I made it to my destination OK, but the check-in was ridiculous considering the U-Haul representative in Chesterfield was not able to check a truck in that was not shown as being out. Let alone a truck that I just travel 288 miles from one state to the next. the vehicle was NOT maintained. it was low on multiple fluids AND one tire was over 40 lbs., low, and ALL of the tires needed at least 15 or more pounds. The dash was loose, the door was loose, the cab was dirty, the window handle was broken, the radio and clock would not adjust, and the Drivers mirror was loose, and the front left blinker was very loose. PLEASE call me to discuss......!!!!!!
