We rented a 9ft cargo van it was great next we rented the 15 ft truck the 1st one pulled to the left 2nd one made horrible noise from the right side of the truck . The last one was ok . Over all we had a great experience with the staff . The trucks need to be maintenance regularly

They insist upon retention (meaning keeping) of a second form of "identification," which can be another picture ID or a credit card, while the equipment is checked out. In my case, I had to leave my retired military ID. Upon return, it took a good 10 minutes for them to locate it stuffed in a card file box, dis-organized, amongst a pile of other ID's. I only had the equipment five hours; the person who checked me out was gone and the young man who checked me back in had no idea.

I believe I paid twice for a u haul trailer on July17,2017 .I rented two trailers on that date open utility and a 6 -12 closed one I prepaid on internet and did pre check . When picking up on Washington Blvd store, they were not familiar with prepaid and charged me again for two trailers thus I paid for three only renting two on that date. They are on my bank satement.

While I was picking up my truck, the gentleman helping me was more concerned with conversations with his coworkers than he was with me, so we had to complete my paper work twice after he messed something up, and then finally we went out to get my truck and I realized he had signed me up for a pick-up instead of the 10ft truck I had reserved under my name. So we had to go back inside and do it all again. Then when I finally got in the truck they did not pull it around or check it for me, so when I turned it on I found out one of the tires was low and I had to go back inside and then pull the truck around myaelf for them to fill he tire. Furtermore, I did not want to pay the extra $14 for SafeMove insurance. I have never paid for it before and I did not instend to this time as money is tight. However he skiped over the option the THIRD time we were doing the paperwork and by the time i realized he had charged me for it the paper work was finished and since I had already been there for 40 minutes I didn't have time to redo it all again. I have never had a had experience before with this location and I was very frustrated and disappointed to have things go this way this time. Usually it takes 5 minutes to get the truck so we had food waiting with us to eat after we got it and it was all cold by the time we finished which only added to my frustration.

One criticism: If the customer is responsible for filling the tank up to a certain point, I would expect that the tank have at least that much fuel by the time I retrieve the truck. I should not have to pay for fuel I did not use. Otherwise, service was quick and to the point. Moving furniture would've sucked without a truck. :)

The truck was received smelling terrible and was infested with roaches! When I spoke to the manager she told us to just throw a roach bomb in the back of the truck and close door. I called the corporate office and they said they would have a manager call me and it was the same manager. She seemed very mad that we called the corporate office about our rental and was extremely mad that we requested a partial refund. She then said all she could do was $50 refund which didn't even cover the cost of the bug spray and air freshener needed to try and clean back of truck! Also when driving the truck it wouldn't go above 50 miles on the highway at one point and then drop to not be able to go above 25 miles. It also started making a very loud annoying whining sound and sounded like a fire truck.

This was not the address I was given. When you google it or when you make an online reservation, it gives you a different address. I went to the Russell street address and the man told me to go to a different address. I went to this addresss listed about and a man approached me and asked if I got gas. He said I could go. I was hesitant because I didn't know if I was supposed to drive back to Russell street citgo or leave the car at the above address. He told me to talk to the lady inside. While waiting in line, another employee asked if I was returning. I told him yes and how I was sent over here because Russell street told me to go here. The young man accommodated me and apologized for what happened. Even though it wasn't his fault.

Place Visible "Do Not Enter" signs, and "Customers Enter door" signs at the proper designated entrances.. Place throughout Uhaul facility "Employees Only" signs where needed to be.. This would definitely help reduce customers from feeling publicly humiliated and embarrassed as I was coming into a Unmarked entrance while in front of other waiting customer's on 7/8/17... Hey just give us a Reading chance before calling unwanted redfaced attention to unsure entering customers .. Post visible signs at your 2929 Washington Blvd, Baltimore area location, and I will up their location to "5stars"??...
