Customer service was amazing and nothing wrong with the location however I feel as the trailer was very unsafe. I have hauled many trailers in my life but this one was very unsafe. The trailer swayed uncontrollably on multiple occasions in the rain. It didn’t matter if the trailer was empty or loaded. All of the weight in the trailer was in the front but as soon as it started raining or the roads were wet, the trailer was very hard to control.

John BWe arrived to drop off our rental at 4:50pm. The employee said they don’t usually do intakes because they are closed. Thankfully she took it but I find it interesting that she said they were closed considering the door was unlocked, the closing time on the door said 5pm and the neon open light sign was on.
Kristal CTailor and the staff at Storage Depot of Shelbyville are the perfect example of how to provide excellent customer service while also being personable. The staff here went above and beyond my expectations. Unlike Compass Self Storage of Shelbyville, they actually have new storage units that aren’t rat infested and don’t have insulation falling from the ceilings or flood due to the roofs leaking. (See pics) After the “Move In Special” expired, the rent was increased almost every six months. In a short time it grew to nearly $1500 per month! My only regret is that I didn’t move to Storage Depot of Shelbyville over three years ago. The proof is in the value they offer: Immaculate facility, great staff, new buildings (with pest control), gated, very well lit, and modern HD surveillance cameras! This is by far the absolute best value and peace of mind for my moving and storage needs! Plus, my monthly storage bill is literally 50% less now! I will never go anywhere else!
