I reserved (2) floor dollies as part of my trailer rental and upon arriving at this facility, they stated had no dollies available. This required me to then locate another nearby U-Haul facility to acquire them. Upon checking with 21EX[RESS (41201), the attendant said she had dollies at her location. After driving to this new location, I found they only had (1) dolly there and I requested to rent it for a 1-way move, same as for this trailer and blanket rental. Took her 20 minutes to finally figure out how to create a rental for a $7 item and after trying to return the trailer, blankets and this dolly to the Drop Off location in Round Rock (which took 20 minutes to complete due to them being very busy), they indicated this dolly was for an in-town rental and we'd have to go inside to sort it out. Not having time to do this, I opted to return this dolly back to the facility in Bastrop on Sunday, in which upon trying to return it, the Hispanic clerk said "Thank you' and I stated I'd like a receipt to confirm the return, of which he then said 'You don't need one", so fingers crossed he accepted it and returned it to their stock. So my main beef and question is: Doesn't U-Haul audit their dealer's moving supplies inventory (not just trailers and trucks) at these locations constantly to show what each has in stock, to help avoid these types of issues and frustration?

I had the worst experience at this location. The woman working at the feed store refused to take my call when I needed a few questions answered about pickup and drop off times so I had to call the UHual 800 number to set the reservation. The reservation was supposed to be for 24 hours but when I went to pick up the rental, the woman at the location told me that they were closed the next day and I couldn't drop off until the following day. I had no place to keep rental item and because I wasn't able to leave it at any other locations, I ended up having to inconveniently keep it another night and drop off when they reopened which required me to call in late to work. Had the woman at the location taken my call and answered my questions I would have never rented from this place. I had tried call the 800 number again but was told there was nothing that could be done other than notifying the owner of the establishment. I've yet to hear from them. Renting from this lo to has been the most frustrating and inconvenient business I have ever delt with.

Lauretta JEverything was great at the stores. I wish U-Haul Corp would have been better. Had to change from a 5x8 to a 6x12 trailer but corp wouldn’t work with me on the cost. Had to eat the one way cost and get a new rental for the larger trailer. $350 wasted
Chris SI believe I’ve never rated a U-haul location. If I have, I don’t remember it. This location and experience was so pleasant it’s worth rating. Typically you’re assisted by a 20 something kid who would rather be anywhere else, but knows they have a job to do. This experience was totally different and almost worth writing home about, but I chose to complete this survey instead. For as long as I’m near Bastrop, this store is my preferred U-haul location.
