Richard Awintertime, cold and snow covered rental truck. Clean the snow off and start the engine to defrost the windshield and warm the interior. It's the overall customer experience that makes for a good rental. The rental truck has a speed limiter at 74 mph. Speed limiters may lead to increased traffic congestion, especially on highways where trucks cannot keep up with the flow of faster vehicles. Additionally, in situations where acceleration might be necessary to avoid accidents, such as overtaking, the restriction can pose a safety risk. I understand you want to protect your equipment and your liability but raising the speed limiter to 80mph would be prudent.
