This place left dirty rotten food in the truck for me. They also didn’t properly set up my pickup so i was 30 minutes late for my job. Additionally they repair all the vehicles in house and it feels like a scam where they charge full price for repairs on cheap labor and also can arbitrarily charge people because they are judge, jury, and executioner in this system. They should be investigated for fraud
Nicholas DThis location claims to allow you to have the mobile pickup with the app, but when you get there is no office, the place looks super sketch, all the doors are closed with shutters, the actual keys are with the 1 guy who works there who's walking around all the surrounding 2 blocks between trucks, not wearing any Uhaul work-like clothing. And when you ask him about the sign that says here is where it says the Uhaul location is, he knows behind some wrecked out wall there's a broken door where he reaches behind to walk behind somewhere and come back with your keys. And best of yet when you guys advertise "ya no problem, it's a flawless quick pickup using the app straight to the lockbox" IT IS NOT. You have to finish the app part and then as it tells you "show this screen to the counter staff to retrieve your keys" and guess what there isn't anybody around. Could be waiting for 10, 15, 30, or even 45 minutes just looking for people around the street that could perhaps be the Uhaul staff. Oh and then you have to walk a few minutes to go and find the truck that was parked somewhere in the Brooklyn streets lol **A check in/check out system with other locations that could take 5 minutes + an easy pleasant experience, at 1389 Atlantic Ave could be 30 minutes with a real headache and sketchy experience.**
YISROEL AThere were other truck at premises but they gave the worst truck
NAZRUL II spent 30 mins standing in the cold trying to get my reservation to activate. Check the call center records...it's all in there. I do not think it was the location's fault, but not sure.
