No communication whatsoever that the in person part was going to be closed. I didn’t know where the car was. No instructions on releasing car brake. No instructions on returning the car. The gas level provided was low (1/8) and incorrect.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkIt was not clear what to do at all. I reserved so that I could pick up the van through the app, and I had to call the main number several times to speak with a representative. Even with the representative's help, the check-in process was still complicated and long. If the onsite attendant had not been there to help, it would have been even worse. She was very efficient and helpful, and in no way is my rating a reflection of her – her customer service was excellent. I had to extend the rental and ended up returning the van even later because there was no parking lot and nowhere to park that was not illegal (hydrant or a no-parking zone).
Jennifer WIt was extremely hard to access my keys initially. It took me over two hours to get a person on the phone who wouldn’t hang up on me and I was unable to check in from my app; it kept telling me to call a phone number.
