Communication is key when sending a customer from location to location. This location was great. However, my experience leading up to the drop off was horrendous. This is the second time uhaul has messed up and blamed the customer.

Truck was dirty. Drivers side window washer didn't work but they did fix it. The truck pulled so hard to the left that it was fatiguing to drive. After 12 hours I was exhausted.

I rented a 26' truck with a lift gate. No one was there to deal with the issue. It cost me $500 to load 6 steel benches because there was no lift. I should have been informed about this at the time of reservation and at the time of paperwork. Then I was charged $25 for cleaning, they were steel benches. Whatever was inside was there when I rented it.

I've dropped here 2x. Nobody has been at the desk available to receive my drop of your equip in either case. First time I waited for someone. Today, I left the key and presume everything went fine as I have not heard one way or the other. I guess no news is good news but honestly, it leaves me feeling less than psyched about the customer service.

He went out of his way to meet me on day that they were normally closed, offered very detailed information to me about the equipment and provided excellent customer service. He continued to offer me assistance in a very timely manner, at a time when our community and world are challenging, during the Coronavirus. I arrived to this location after hours (6:37PM), after driving 17 miles from home destination. The Uhual had appropriate gas level at this time and 34 miles less then returned. The entry gate and business was closed, so I was confused as to what to do. Uhual did not notify me of this. A physical sign read 'This after hours location is seasonally closed for winter. Any unattended equipment will not be considered returned and additional fees will be incurred.' I called Uhual and had a 38min phone call, which lead to no solution. Uhual mentioned a manager would call teh next day, but they never did. I went back to my home destination, wasting additional miles and gas (which Uhual ended up charging me for). I tried to see if any co-worker would be able to drop off the next day, because I needed to leave town. However I needed to find two individuals to juggle the process. I ended up driving back to the business, leaving the truck at the gate (8:52PM) and hiding the key under the business mat (accepting liability). I wrote an email to the business and left a voicemail, hoping they would understand. Luckily they accepting the Uhual outside the business, otherwise I'd have to drive back again.
