The person on duty showed up after waiting at the desk for 10 minutes. He also didn't inspect the truck or give me a receipt to sign he just said "You're good." and let me go.

Set up an actual Uhaul key drop box. I went into the Super 8 lobby and called the staff by pressing "0". He instructed me to leave the key on their desk.
