We reserved a trailer to haul a motorcycle. We were told we couldn't use the trailer one way. We ended up having to get a different trailer. Not pleased. We were told we could just drop it at our destination of Ames, Iowa. When we got there we were told we would have to drop the trailer in a different city! Very Inconvenient!!

I discovered the trailer I picked up was dirty with animal feces in it once I got home. I had to take the trailer back and then next one they tried to give me had not been cleaned either. I finally got a clean trailer, but had lost almost 2 hours of my day. I know its not a large dollar item, but I would have expected to be offered some kind of discount. When I brought it to the staff's attention on returning and showed them the picks, I got a shrug of the shoulders! I rent several times a year and this location is closest to me, but I will go elsewhere from now on.

We received 2 phone calls the day ahead asking us to pick up the truck early "to avoid the rush" which ended up costing us an extra $20+ in extra mileage. Not sure if this is how they make extra money or what??

Vehicles was dirty inside, vehicle had a lot of rattles, noises., etc and the lock to the doors did not work.

I originally scheduled this as a one way trip, thinking it would be easier to drop this vehicle off at another location in town. When they called to confirm I asked to switch my drop off location to the original pickup location. I was told that I couldn't do that. In going back to figure out the difference in the way I scheduled this from doing it from my home and back to my home, I was only moving my daughter into a local college, I paid an addition at least $25 to $30 doing it that way. It's not so much the money, as it was my error but really is that when I wanted to change to help with this I was told I couldn't. We needed to get my daughter moved and had lots going on so I didn't push it with the agent on the phone. In hindsight I should have, but I also feel as a customer you're website should provide the most cost effective options to customers.

The lady works there and a guy there in the morning when I arrived wasn't helpful at all. They made me feel like I wasn't their client. Waiting in line for at least 5 minutes and the lady stood there doing nothing. Something was wrong with my card and they didn't accept it made me called my bank, when i was done taking care of my business the guy asked me "so what happened " even i have money in my card , they gave me a look like im lying. Then the card ran smoothly, 2 of that workers look at each other and rolled their eyes at me. Not recommended this place to no one

Customer Service staff was very good and knowledgeable. We originally reserved a 5 x 10 trailer, but the staff suggested a 6 x12 trailer based on what we were hauling and vehicle towing rating at the same price. We had a few problems when testing out the trailer lights. Didn't have a 4 prong adapter, but this location had one in stock for a reasonable price. Also a trailer light fuse was out in the truck. Fortunately there was a spare 10 amp fuse in the truck. U-Haul might consider having fuses too because they are inexpensive and you wouldn't have to go to an auto parts store to pick one up, if you don't have a spare in the vehicle. Definitely would rent from U-Haul at Blaine, MN location again.

When returning the trailer, I had to wait for almost a half hour for someone to come and unhook the trailer(which I could have done myself) and then tell me I was good to go. I did not receive my receipt until 3 days later and they had charged me for those 3 additional days. When I called, they said that the trailer was just sitting in the lot those 3 days without being checked in even though I returned it in the return lane with an employee. While I appreciate the quick fix when I called to ask about the mistake, I hope that this can be fixed so that future customers do not experience the same thing.

The return app is lousy and needs improvement. I went to the site, had a hard time figuring out where to go to check out, then it sent a verification code to my email. I'm in the truck, my email is at home, it doesn't come to my phone unless it is off, so I was unable to complete the transaction. I went home, go the code, then it wanted my location. Obviously I wasn't there any more. When I went back that way, I stopped to try to complete it from the lot, then it wants pictures. Moral here? You need to provide more than one way to receive your "verification code". That's a pretty big assumption that everyone has only one email and that is the one on their phone. Ever heard of texting? a Phone call?

The equipment was clean, but the padlock for the back of the truck was very hard to unlock and relock.

Desk staff was awesome. Friendly and informative. Too much clutter in front of main desk with all the racks. Makes it difficult to see employee. Could be a safety issue as well.

The truck started consuming fuel at a high rate halfway through the trip. It was shaking and jumping like the motor was going to come through the cab. These issues caused me to be a day behind and pay extra rental. I told the UHaul associate about it and his response was "ok we will see what's wrong".
