I called and said we would be there in 5 minutes, drove up, they checked trailer out, backed into stall, they unhooked, took less than 5 minutes. WONDERFUL!!!

This was the best experience I have had with U-haul.. It was a very quick pick-up and drop-off and the employees were pleasant to work with.
Staff was amazing.
I did the online check in to minimize the amount of time needed inside, but when I picked up the trailer, their fees did not match what I paid and it took at least 20 minutes to get it figured out ... and it only worked because I had a printout of my order. I had to ask one of the UHaul employees to put their mask on - despite the state mandate to wear one. This was all after UHaul not only changed my order from a 5x8 trailer to a 6x12 - but they changed my pick up location by about 25 miles.
Have the equipment at the location (listed in the contract) your customer has contracted for. If I didn't call a day before to confirm pick up, I would have wasted over an hour not knowing where I was now supposed to drive to get it. Time is kind of precious on moving day.
I was surprised staff wasn't wearing masks in the public space.
At the time of pickup, the customer service was very unprofessional.
I wish the counter person would have better explained the mobile process for check-in and check-out. We were unaware there was any additional information needed (we were lead to believe going to the counter bypassed the app)-- returning was a huge headache as we had no idea that anything was needed online and on top of that customer service was zero help (on hold for an hour(, we had no internet so I used my data to send an a few unreturned email

Don't provide services you cannot stand behind. If it were not for Matt, the owner of this location, taking extra time to clarify the situation, I would be suing you instead of giving a five star rating.

Everything went very well!
Clean the passenger compartment of the vehicle. There was mud and garbage on the floor mats and inner side rails. There was dust and dirt on the dash, arm rests, and console. The cup holders were full of gummy gunk. stuck on dirt, and food waste. The passenger compartment was filthy. Had we not needed the vehicle we would have refused it in that condition.
It took almost 20 minutes to get approved checking in to grab a truck online. It was too long to not think there is an issue going on. Maybe type a disclaimer if this usually takes that amount of time. I was calling customer service at the 10 minute mark.
According to the manager/owner, you can't extend the rental of a dolly and moving pads without also extending the rental of a trailer. I returned the trailer after 30 hours of rental, left it in their after hours lot, followed the instructions to check it in. Their check in would not recognize the location (this happened to 2 other people I know and they also complained about it AND one of the employees acknowledged it was THEIR system that did not work properly). I called the manager the next morning to be sure the trailer was accounted for. She said she couldn't check the trailer in without the pads and dolly. However "on good faith" she DID check the trailer in anyway and rerented it to someone else. She charged me for 3 days of rental for ALL items, including the trailer that was returned after 30 hours. She refused to refund 1 day of trailer rental because the pads and dolly were not returned at the same time. She said their system wasn't broken, it was my phone that was broken. Beware of this location, I have heard this has happened multiple times. She is nasty to customers (although her staff seems to be pretty nice and easy going). I filed a fraud charge with my credit card so sadly instead of them refunding me 1 day of rental they will now owe all of it. Bad business owner, sad that she is tainting Uhaul's brand.
very lazy and unorganized no desire
The only reason I answer â€˜no' to a recommendation is because no one at this location wore a mask, unlike the Coon Rapids location I visited. I know this has become an ideological, rather than a health issue, but I am the essential caregiver of my 95yr. old parent, and appreciate businesses that can see the bigger picture.
