Service was fast and friendly. The truck was clean.
Rebecca GThere was only a clerk in the convenience store who did not speak English very well. He was able to communicate that we should just park the truck outside and put key in the dropbox. No one to actually check the truck in. We returned the truck 55 minutes before it was due back (it was due back at 11:15 am; we returned the truck at 10:20 a.m. with more gas in it than when we picked it up the day before). Around 1 p.m. we began receiving phone calls and emails saying the truck had not been returned and that we would be reported to law enforcement. We called Owltown Market and spoke to a woman who could not speak English very well, but she was able to confirm that the truck had been returned on time and gave us a name and a phone number to call to confirm that. We also called a UHaul phone number and the person there also confirmed all was fine. Soon after we received a receipt by email that the truck was turned in with no issues. We never received any information as to why we received these notifications, or an apology of any kind. This was all very disconcerting. If we ever need to use a UHaul vehicle again, we will go somewhere other than Owltown Market for dropoff or pickup.
MITCHELL WI cannot say enough great things about Roy. He was able to refer me to some gentleman who helped me unload the uhaul, and was able to refer local businesses that I needed.
