My original pickup location was changed from Washington IL to Bloomington IL. I lost 2 hours driving from Bloomington to Washington and was loading the truck late at night so I could get out on time. UHaul changed my reservation so I am not happy about it. You probably don't care anyway, but this is poor customer service with changes not discussed with the client. I could have picked up a truck in East Peoria instead of Bloomington IL and be on my way quicker.

Customer Reviews
It was terrible experience. I wont go into details but the group behind the glass window needs to be trained to be a U-Haul center before your next customer comes through the door. I don't blame the group at Joes for not knowing how to handle a rental I blame U-Haul. FYI: I had to dig the trailer out of the snow and hook it up by myself.
It took me nearly an hour just to drop off a trailer. having just moved into the area, I didn't realize that there is/was a new U-Haul location not too far up the street from Joe's Towing. The staff was friendly enough and took care of me, but their principle focus is on dispatching tow trucks and getting that taken care of...not on U-Haul equipment. Joe's is open late, so if you have to do a late drop-off, go for it, but otherwise, I'd find a different location if you value your time.
The only position part of my rental was the people I dealt with at Joe's. The rest of my rental experience was horrible, wrong equipment and still charged me for the other equipment. Do not use uhaul would be my recommendation
Very dissatisfied with this entire rental experience.
They seemed very confused and not educated on how to process the Uhaul truck transaction. Very unorganized.
I have absolutely no issue with this location or its staff. I only wish that Uhaul would have made my pickup location the main Uhaul office on Main street. The Main Street office is minutes from my old apartment but the Joe's Towing location was on the opposite side of town. I've only lived in Bloomington for 2 years so I had to look up directions online & to make things worse... one of the roads was closed! I eventually found my way there so no harm, no foul, but it would have been nice if my pickup location was closer to my home.
Was supposed to drop off the truck at a different site. When I got there, they said the site was full and I would have to drive accross town to drop off. Dropped off at Joe's Towing, which looked dumpy (as expected, its a towing place) and they couldn't print my receipt because the system was down. 10 days later I got a bill for $950 saying I kept the truck an extra week and put 600+ additional miles on it. Still waiting on the error to get corrected...miserable experience. Will likely never use u-haul again
Sta ff was very helpful, but very busy with other dities besides U-haul.
There was no help or instructions in hooking up the trailer. I had no help making sure the lights were working. Someone should follow and help the hookup of trailers.
They weren't exactly sure how to hook up car hauler
