The trailer's registration is expired, since 2023. I found out after being pulled over in Dwight, IL by local police, who then searched the entire contents of the trailer due to suspicious activity around the trailer. We were lucky not to be ticketed for the violation and given a warning, so I am relaying that warning to you. I will be letting everyone I possibly can about this and boycotting Uhaul from the point on. Get your shit together. You're a corporation and should be ashamed that it cannot follow simple motor vehicle laws, but this may just be how you do business these days. This has nothing to do with the pickup or drop off locations, so don't mistake your problems for theirs. Uhaul is the problem. NOT THE LOCATIONS. UHAUL DID THE ILLEGAL THINGS.

Shanna WLet me preface this review that I never right reviews. However, the service and vehicle were so poor, I had to say something, Don’t send me to a shady gas station to pick up the truck when there are 2 actual U haul locations nearby. Found out the truck I reserved was too small, tried to swap it out at the veterans pkwy location. Employee looked drunk and high, was zero help, zero customer service, didn’t even sit up from the chair. Told me I had to go back to the original location to swap the vehicle. The gas station……when I explained they had no other trucks, he said there was nothing he could do. Truck was brand new, stated it had a USB port, but guess what?! No USB port! Also truck had the worst wind noise I’ve ever experienced coming from the doors during the drive. Extremely annoying.

David NIt took a really long time to get the truck checked out. The person at the counter did not seem to know what to do. She couldn't get the app to work. She did not have me sign anything and there was no paperwork at all. Very strange. The truck was fine so it turned out okay.
