Needed to extend our rental & only 12 hours available - the attendant tried to offer alt solutions but was unable - we were pleased anyway but don't think the fee for the entire day was appropriate when only 1/2 day was granted

Germs roach infestation - millions of them in everything and everywhere .. had to throw away all blankets , towels , cloth materials , etc Now after being told I’m getting not charged and refunded for what already paid I have collections with U-Haul dept .. I have been in contact with you all the whole time since the moment I saw the first roach and with the location, the U-Haul was filthy to begin with which it was the last one so I didn’t even complain, but saw one roach when I first got it didn’t think much of it until a few hours later when it became nighttime open the doors and there were thousands crawling over everything in all of my stuff I made the location aware I even paid my own money to extend the rental so I could try to bomb or do whatever ended up having to keep the truck to mitigate the problem from the roaches and after being told several times I will not be charged for anything. I am still receiving bills.
Kristie GIt’s close to where I live so that was good. I only took the $15.00 insurance but was charged $30.00, not happy about that. The truck also didn’t come with a dolly when every other U haul I have rented had one. Overall it was okay, but would rent elsewhere next time.
